"Mom!" I scream dropping to my knees after I heard the door slam close. I take her head and place it onto my lap and start to run my fingers gently through her hair. She looks up at me and smiles slightly. I grimace leaning down to give her a kiss on the forehead.
"You are still protected right sweetheart?" She asks and I nod quickly, she brings her hand up to my head and I turn so my face is in her hand. She takes a deep breath and sits up slowly trying not to let me see her weak.
"Are you okay mommy?" I ask and she nods then turns to look at me. I move back a little bit to where she can reach me if she needs me but she can have some space.
"I am fine sweetheart. Now an alpha from some pack is coming tomorrow so I will leave the door open and you will make noise and if the visitors come down here I will un-cover you and get you out of here." I tell her and my eyes instantly go wide and I shake my head quickly.
"No I will not leave you mom!" I tell her and she sighs taking my hands in hers wincing slightly. I could see that she was going to fight me on this and I give her a defeated look.
"June you will go and have a better life. You will go to the Glow Moon pack and ask for Alpha James. He is your father. Tell him that Flower sent you after the rock to the head. It won't make sense to you but he will understand. Promise me June that you will leave with the alpha no matter what." She gives me the look that I know is fading, her eyes lost their spark when my dad didn't come. I could see that going to my dad will allow me to go back for my mom. I nod and she smiles.
"Of course mommy." I say with a small smile, she leans over and kisses the crown of my head. She lays down patting the spot next to her for me to take. I sigh and lay down next to my mom, she smiles slightly before taking my hand and closing her eyes. I watch her fall asleep making me smile to close my eyes and falling asleep.

I wake up alone, the cage unlocked but I just sat there and looked at the open door at the end of the hall. I could hear my grandma yelling and a kicking sound with my enhanced hearing. I sit there for a second before a doorbell rings. I see my mom walk past the basement door and paused slightly to give a slight nod to me then continued. I heard the door open and a growl rip through the house. A guy comes down the stairs and stops in front of the cell I am in. My mom in tow with my grandparents stopping behind the guy.
"Undo." I hear my mom mutter and I feel the magic being lifted off of me. The guy in front of me opens the cell door and takes me into his arms causing sparks to erupt all over. I put my chin on his chest and look into his eyes. He has bluish green eyes, blonde hair that was a controllable messy, he stood at 6'6 saying that he was a foot taller then me.
"What is your name?" He asks and I mentally sigh hearing his rich voice.
"June." I say and he smiles.
"Alex." He says lifting me up bridal style. He walks out and starts to the stairs when I wiggle my way out of his arms and over to my mom. I pull her into my arms and put my head on her shoulder.
"Baby you promised." She mutters and I pull away tears freely flowing down my face. She reaches up and wipes them away, tears of her own creeping down her face. She offers me a small smile then looks at Alex.
"I don't wanna leave you mommy." I tell her and she pushes me slightly into someones arms. I freak out for a second before I felt the sparks ignite and I knew it was Alex.
"Remember what I told you last night." She says and I heard Alex sigh. I look up at him to see him mind-linking. I hear the front door open and then my mom gasp. I get out of Alex's arms and turn to see a guy about 6' with blonde hair and black eyes. My mom ran up to him and threw herself into his arms. He caught her and kissed her passionately, my mom pulled away first and rested her head against his chest. He looked around and his eyes landed on me.
"Who is she?" He asks and my mom looks up at him then looks at me, she smiles slightly.
"James, meet your daughter June, June meet your father." My mom says and I see my grandparents grab the black diamond and grab me at the same time. I look at the black diamond and freeze not wanting to move and get hurt.
"Move and she gets hurt." My grandpa says putting the diamond next to my arm to where it started to burn slightly.
