I was always in the water. It really felt like home. Never ever was there a time when I said no to taking a dive into a deep blue pool. Hi, I'm Kylee. Kylee Hampton. I grew up next to a beach side with my mother, father, dog, and younger sister Lilly. She meant the world to me. I wouldn't let any one hurt her even if it meant for me to say goodbye one last time. I had long black straight hair with a little bit of blonde ombre and crystal blue eyes. My sister was my opposite. She had straight blonde hair with dark green eyes. My dog was a waist high husky with minty blue eyes and he was black and white.
My sister loved the water as much as I did. She was at school 5 days a week for 7 hours. I was home schooled because there were to many bullies and uptight girls for my likings. I still had a huge group of friends that I hung out with since I moved here to Las Angles in the 2nd grade. My sister would have small slumber parties every week end. Her friends seemed so nice to her, she was very loved. Until , Friday July 15th 2016.
I was cooking dinner since my mom went on a big business trip. And my dad wanted a weekend to go to Las Vegas. My sister runs down the stairs and her eyes were filled with tears. I thought she got a small cut or something like that. She told me to check her phone I grabbed it and what I saw was so crazy.
Lindsay: first off ur not our friend 4ever anymore. Secondly ur so not smart and we likes the smart ones. So bye don't hang with us at lunch recess and more.
"What am I going to do now". Her face filled with no more joy and no more of her beautiful smile. "Lindsay sent you that?". " Yes she did" as the tears from her eyes explode and run down her sweet face. "Take my hand were going down there come on". She stands still hands shaking.
Lindsay lived about a block away. My sister went down there every weekend for a slumber party or even to do homework. I'd help her out if she needed me to but she had straight A's and one A- she was definitely smarter than me. I was a straight A , B student my mom always was proud and never had a problem with our grades.
I give a slow knock on Lindsay's door. Her mom swings the door open and then with a smile that stretched all across her face she says. "what a pleasant surprise, let me go grab Lindsay". "No, may I come in, I think me and you might need to have a little chat".
Heyyyy, so I have started a new book. Dont worry though im not giving up on my last one its just I haven't come up with any ideas. I had this book idea a long time ago I just never started it. So now I have, welcome to the riptide.
