"Everyone, get back!" Baki commanded as the large object continued it descent to the Earth. And then, something happened. It stopped falling and a bright sunshine like glow burst from it, stunning everyone. Oh no...
"Get down!" I yelled as the bomb went off, shaking the ground and blasting around us. But yet... No one was hurt. Te blast ended, died and everyone was ok, still alive. I looked up to see a large veil of sand over top us. Gaara? He saved us all! I ran to the edge of the roof and looked down at the people amazed at Gaara's ability and quick thinking. Baki was still shaking with his arms up, waiting for death. "Baki!" I yelled. "Look up!" He did and noticed the veil. I looked up as well.
As if in slow motion I watched, my heart shattering as the enemy's bomb bird floated in front of Gaara, his sand slowly reaching out to cover it. My eyes widened and my breath left my body in a scream of terror that didn't seem to reach my ears. The blast was evident and Kankuro beside yelled, but again it I couldn't hear it. I remember this feeling... No... You can't have him! You can't take him away! Why?! No! You can't! You can't! "Leave him ALONE!!!!" My scream vibrated through the air as the ultimate defense waved and buckled with internal explosions. People all around dropped to their knees holding their heads in pain.
Kankuro slapped a hand over my mouth to stop the scream and I struggled until I was on the ground. Somethings wrong. He's hurt! I know he is! He's hurt! Someone needs to help him! Help him and-! ...Oh jeeze. I doubled over on the ground and with three great heaves lost everything in my stomach. Kankuro looked down at me in concern and helped me to my feet. "I'm fine, I'm stressed, help him!" I said.
Kankuro looked up at the ultimate defense. He ran forward. "GAARA!" He screamed. The sand was falling away. Bit by bit it fell until large chunks began to slide off. This isn't good. I could see Gaara through the crumbles of the defense. He was out cold and my heart stopped when the enemy flew forward toward Gaara.
"No..." My voice was choked. He can't take him! We watched but the enemy stopped and flew backward and away. Gaara was awake! and he was taking the sand back from the veil that saved us from the bomb. Have faith in Gaara. He can win this. But... wait...
"He's using every last bit of power to move the sand out away from the village! He's trying to save his people." Baki said beside me. Then he turned and barked orders to a group of ninja. he still intends to save him! Please, try your best. Bring him home safe. The village began to attack the enemy, shooting arrows with bomb tags attached, but watching, my stomach did flips and I began to feel sick again. I put my hand over my mouth and attempted to fight the nausea. Asoka touched my shoulder at the moment I ran to the edge and heaved. She followed and helped me up again.
"Esendo... are you-?" She didn't get to finish as Kankuro interrupted her. "Come on, don't give up." I looked up at Gaara who was struggling to finish the move of the sand. People began to cheer him on and finally the sand fell just outside the village. While everyone else cheered, I cried. Gaara, seeing the village safe, Passed out once more. as the sand fell, so did he and people noticed as the enemy dive after him.
"No!" Kankuro growled. He can't take him! But we all watched in horror as Gaara was caught in the tail of the bird and taken away. "GAARA!!!" Was the echoing yell that was heard all around the village as our very hearts shattered and the all hope was lost.
