"Good morning" Casper said opening my curtains. "10 more minutes!!" I pull the pillows over my head and fall back asleep. Casper walked towards my closet picking out my dress for the day. "You must wake up, you have many things planned for the day." He said handing me my robe in his right hand and my schedule in his left. As I slip one arm through a sleeve I grab the schedule. "Really, lunch with Jordan? He's kinda crazy and annoying." I rolled my eyes and walked to my changing area.
After getting ready for the day I walked down to the dining area, there I see my brother and father, also a little guest.. Yeah it's Jordan.
Jordan is this man my father loves and wants me to marry so I can become queen, he believes I'm more reliable than my brother and I'm also older so things just happen.
"Good morning Maddy, how well did you sleep?" Jordan asked getting up to pull up a chair for me. I simply dodged his offer and sat next to my father instead making it awkward in the room, "I slept fine." I gave him a small smile and kissed my father on the cheek.
A couple of our chefs came out with trays of breakfast, we had the original but of course bigger since royalty always does it bigger.
Breakfast was very awkward with Jordan there; I was glad breakfast was over and I could leave him. While I was in the office Casper came in with a sword, "What's this?" I was never introduced to weapons, after the war weapons were kept away for safety reasons. "Stop what your doing, no more running errands, it's time for a change." Casper had a very serious look on his face but then turned into a smirk. Standing up from my chair I pulled the sword out of its casing and held it up, "What exactly am I dropping everything for this sword for?" Casper turned around and started walking, "Follow me and you'll find out."
Casper brought me to an area of the castle I've never stepped foot in, it wasn't because I wasn't aloud it's just because I named bothered. With both doors closed Casper reached out and opened them wide. "Ah! I haven't been in here since-" he stopped himself looking at me. "Since my mother." I assured him, "Its fine to talk about her." I looked around the giant room. "She was quite the hero around here." He walked over to the middle of the room and pulled a rug off the ground,;there was a trap door. "What's down there?" I got a little nervous. "You'll see." He had the biggest smile on his face as he pulled the door up.
A set of stairs in a spiral going down with no light. Casper grabbed a candle for the each of us and he led the way. "Wow it really smells!" I was trying to hold my breath while holding up my dress so I didn't trip down the steps. "Here we are!" Casper said in much excitement walking towards the last step; there was a small hallway leading to a door. "Why is this place so hidden anyway?" I stopped next to Casper at the door while he put a key in the key hole. "Well this is where all of your mothers weapons and things are." He said opening the door reveling everything.
"Wow!" I was amazed by everything in the room. "Here is where you will meet with me every morning after breakfast to train. I have a personal trainer for you and your brother and father are not to know about any of this." He was very firm about the last part. I gave him a nod then walked towards the weapon rack.
During the week I would go and train down there with my trainer while Casper watched and made sure I was doing right. It was hard to keep from my father because once I did something well I wanted him to congratulate me, but he couldn't so I told him I was going to the barn with the horses.
On a Thursday morning right after breakfast I hurried down to the training room. Casper and my trainer were already waiting for me, "Sorry I'm a little late I couldn't get away from Jordan, he keeps talking about our wedding." I grabbed my sword and got right into my training.
