Laurens POV:

It was a warm Monday morning, the faint rays of Sun coming through the curtains. My alarm went off telling me to get ready for school. I sighed tapping the dismiss button muting the noise. I threw the covers off myself and got dressed in clothes I'd picked out the night before.

A white shirt with pink roses, and a black skirt with black converses. After that I brushed and put up my red hair in a messy bun. My makeup was simple. Pink lipstick, foundation, and winged eyeliner.

Once I was ready I grabbed my bag and headed out, skipping breakfast as I usually did. The bus arrive shortly. I hopped on and made my way to the back picking a seat.

It soon filled, growing more and more crowded. Each person was sharing two or three to one. I lean my head on the window and watch the bus pull into the front of the school in what seemed like no time.

The bus stopped, making others stand up quickly, waiting a second before The doors opened letting out a big hiss in doing so. The kids spilled out onto the stairs eager to escape the chilly outside air and into the much warmer building.

I was the last off. The driver smiled at me and waved. "Have a good day!", she yelled. I quietly responded with a " You too." In fact I was probably too quiet to hear. I quickly walked inside and went to my first period class (math) deciding to silently read until the bell rang. Mrs. Yvonne walked over and sat next to me.

"Morning Lauren." I lifted my head. "Morning." She sweetly smiled and closed the book then looked over the cover. "We should hang out sometime" she read aloud. I nodded. "Yes we should." She chuckled a bit. "What's it about?" I looked back at the cover myself. "Basically its about a man who struggles to find love." "Ah. I see." She got up and walked back to her own desk. I opened the book back to the first page not remembering where I'd left off. As if reading my mind Ms. Yvonne looked at me and mouthed "120." I flipped to the page and sure enough that was it.

A few minutes passed until the bell did finally ring. People flooded in and took their seats. All the faces I saw were firmiliar. All except one. One person I did not recognize. They had short brown hair, green eyes, and wearing a black hoodie with faded jeans.

I felt someone tap my shoulder. "Hey dummy." I turned around seeing Noah. I smiled at him. "Hey" "Who is that?" He pointed to the person. I shrugged. "She's new..I'm guessing." We nodded. Noah and I have known each other since we were both just 4 months old and had a brother sister relationship.

"Alright guys, quiet down." Mrs.Yvonne hushed the class and stood beside the girl. "This is Tony. She will be attending our school from now on. Please treat her with respect.." Noah snorted. I looked back at him. "Really?" He was smiling. "I can't help it! Out of all the names for a girl!" I lightly slapped him. "Just Shutup" He rolled his eyes and I focused back on the front of the room. The classes went as usual. Then lunch rolled around.
