Best Present Ever! Chapter 1

Your POV
" Shut up...." I said as my phone went off. It's was 7:30.
" Shut the fuck up! It's Christmas godamnit. LET ME SLEEP!" At this point I was practically screaming at my phone. I finally got up, turned my alarm off and tried to go back to bed again, but it was no use.
I got up and went down stairs to see something was on the counter.
It was a gift.... from my parents. I was 24 and I have my own house. I remembered, when I moved into my apartment, I got two keys, one for me and one for my parents. I always locked the doors at night, so that was the only way they would've gotten in.
I picked up the present and, being the child inside me, shook it. I violently ripped the colorful paper off the exterior of the small box and opened the bracelet box thing inside. But what was inside the bracelet box, was no bracelet... It was four rectangular shaped pieces of paper. They were plain white until I flipped the box over...
I put my hands over my mouth and wiped the happy tears from my (e/c) eyes. They were four Indy Pop Con tickets. I pinched myself a few times to make sure it wasn't a dream.
After 10 minutes of making sure I had a safe place to put the tickets, making sure I had a picture on every social media site I had of me with them and made sure my dog, Chelsea, was as far away from the tickets as possible, I put them on my TV stand for now and eventually but hem in my sock drawer so I wouldn't forget where they were.
I knew they were safe now. I went back into the kitchen and got myself some breakfast. I made some scrabbled eggs and bacon because I had just got the best present I could ever get!!
