And so distance succumbs to you
When options seize
unknown is the plague of distance
whereas closeness
allows for healing
distance pressures and stretches
questioning
your very existence
is an option
when distance is your friend
you never seem to understand

no one seems
to see

miles are free
but gas isn't cheap
and maybe

an inch may span between us
but
a thousand words unspoken
devour
the space
