Forever and Always

Chapter One: Present

"I don't get it Niall! I thought what we had was something special. I thought we were better than this, but of course I was proven wrong. And here we are. Proving to the rest of the world that they were right from the start. We were destined to destroy each other from the very beginning of our relationship. I was so stupid to think that this would of never had happened to us. But it did Niall! NIALL!!!" I've done a lot of crying before I came here, therefore there were no tears falling down my face. I thought I was going to break down the moment I saw him but I'm not.

"Shut up! Sh-sh-shup up! Selena! SELENA! You can't do this to me Selena! It was a horrible mistake. It was never meant to go this far, I promised." Niall begged. He walked across the room to where I was sitting down on the chair. He fell to his knees and laid his head on my lap. "Please Selena. Just listen to what I have said." He cried.

We stayed silent for a few minutes. He's head on my lap. My fingers combed out his blonde locks. My fingers traced the side of his face. They traced his lips. I couldn't listen to any heart breaking lies he was going to say. I removed his head and got up. "Stop Niall. Stop please. I can't take this anymore. I can't." My knees gave up on me and I fell to the floor. "Please Niall make the pain stop. Please!" Tear after tear, they kept falling down my cheeks making contact with the floor beneath me. "I have to do what's best for me. I can't look at you after what you did. Do you know how much pain I'm in? Do you? I told you that I trusted you but you broke your stupid promise. You're no the same person I thought you were."

He moved to where I was on the floor and sat across from me. "I am. I am Selena. Remember, forever and always."

"But that's just it. It's not forever and always. It was never that."

He laid his soft warm hands on either side of my face, making sure I knew I had all his attention. I tried to look everywhere else but his eyes but he kept a firm eye contact with me, resulting in me to look straight ahead to him. Those blue piercing eyes staring through my brown dark eyes. I couldn't take. I tried to move my head to the side but he just firmly move it back to where it was before. We stayed like there for a few minutes. There was a sudden change in his eyes.

"Selena, you probably won't believe me but you'll always be in my heart. But I get it. I get it completely. I understand it all now. I hurt you and you're leaving me! You're not even going to try to fight for us. You're not going to fight for me! So go ahead! Get out! GET OUT!!"

And I did. I got my stuff. Wiped away the run down mascara and any tears. That was that.

So this is the start of my first official story. The story will take place be between the present and the past of their relationship (flashbacks). I will indicate when it's a flashback so there's no confusion. So far I've planned that most chapters will be short unless they're super important then they'll be long. But I'm keeping them short so I can update regularly. I don't have schedule. Because there're hundred, thousands and millions of story on Wattpad, some of things that will happen in my story you could have possible have read. But that doesn't mean that I stole their ideas. I got inspired from movies scenes and other stories. So I put all my ideas and keep up with this.

I am a student and currently a junior so you must know that there will be times where I wont be to update for a long period but I' make sure to make up for it.
