I awake like any other normal day and look at my phone: 8:38. Oh no, I was supposed to up an hour ago. I was going out to town with my friends in like, TWO HOURS!!! As I make my way downstairs my phone beeps: Amy: wot r u doing? I was so not in the mood for chatting! Anyway, as I make my way to the cupboard, whilst typing: nothing much, to my friend I get rudely interrupted by my dad.
"What, has the dog got out again. I'll get the lead," I gesture
"No, sit down"
Oh no, this is bad.
" look this is not the best time to be talking, I really need to-" .
" We are moving to California " silence drops among us.
"Are you serious!!!!".
" I am afraid so," my dad assures.
I walk off, this is a nightmare I need to wake up.
To get this of my mind I take a half an hour shower, then I do my makeup; a casual blend of skin coloured eye shadow, normal light foundation, a hint of highlighting and contouring, a classic cat eye flick with some bright red lipstick not to forget my eyebrows and blush. That took me at least half an hour. Now I need a classic chick outfit so I chose; a dark red belly top, my new pair of black converse, jeans with included rips, gold hoop earrings, best friend bracelet. All I needed now was to carefully toss my hair into a side fish tail. I slouch onto my white sofa and watch X factor. I should should be leaving in ten minutes to go to my friends house. Beep! My friend Dannielle texts: Emily, you should of been here at my house twenty minutes ago! Where are you?
I look at my clock
"S***"
It was 10:58!!
I make my way to Dannielle's house. Suddenly as I stride across the street I bump into someone. All I think when I look up and see a boy is OMG!!!
"Sorry," he says pushing his blonde fringe out if his eyes.
" no it's fine," I stuttered, was it just me or was this guy like, super HOT!!!
" no, I will make it up to you, how about.... You and me..... Date tomorrow at 3:00 pm, Pizza Hut and I'll pay for all your food," he replied.
" yes, I would love that,"
" actually I can't-".
" why? Is it me???!!!"
" no, since it is three days till the summer holiday is over, my father got a new job and we're moving to California," I smile. " what?"
" it's just I coincidentally am moving there too!!!" I gasped.
" then it's a date, Pizza Hut!"
I turn towards my friends house. Smiling. I turn and wave.
As I make myself into Dannielle's house she stares at me for a while
" I saw you with that boy!" She says.
" yeah, we're going on a date!!!"
" what, you can't!! You know who he is, right?"
"No"
" he is the most perfect and popular guy in school!," Dannielle looks at me worriedly.
" yeah, so, isn't that good?"
" no, he has a girlfriend. If she finds out she will ballistic!!!".
