Love Of A Thousand Beats

First Time

I woke up to the sounds of birds chirping outside my window. As I slowly got out of bed, I opened my purple curtains and then walked over to my closet to change out of my pajamas. I put on a pink tank top and white jean short shorts. I headed straight to the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair. I decided to let my dark brown long hair flow around my tan shoulders and pin my bangs back. Once finished, I walked back into my room gathering my phone, wallet, and some other random things and stuffing them into my purse. I grabbed my sunglasses and my pink vans, and raced downstairs.

"Well honey, aren't you excited to see the boys?!" My mum said, laughing as she took in my appearance.

"What? Can I not dress into anything specific without you having to jump to conclusions about things?" I say sarcastically.

"Well eat up, we don't want you to starve." She hands me a plate full of pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon and along with a small cup of milk to wash it all down with.

To be honest, I was excited to finally meet the most famous boy band in the whole entire world. My mum and dad manage them, and starting today they are letting me help with their work.

Once I got done eating, I drank my milk and washed it off in the sink along with my plate.

"Are you ready my pretty ladies?" My dad said scuffling down the stairs trying to prevent from falling on his face. My dad and I share the same balance unfortunately, always bumping into things and falling over our own feet. "Well, don't you look like your excited!" He said as he took in what I was wearing, just like my mum had did.

"Oh stop you guys! Let's get going." I lightly stomped my way to the door, grabbing my purse and sunglasses. We walked down to my mum's old van that my grandmother gave to her. Once we were buckled, my dad drove us away. I kept my sight onto our house until I couldn't see it anymore.

-20 minutes later-

"We are here!" My mum confirms as my dad parks the van into a parking space. I lightly jump up and down repeatedly in my seat, hoping my parents don't notice my little freak out session.

As I stepped out of the car, my heart jumped when I saw One Direction's bus in one of the many enormous parking spaces. My mum grabbed my hand, squeezing it gently as she pulled me over to the doors that enter inside the building. I felt the cool inside air slam into my exposed skin, sending shivers down my body.

My parents lead me down the halls, everybody moving out of the way as they came through, as if they dominated these halls. My heart jammed itself into my throat once we stopped in front of a wide blurry door, knowing that all five of the boys are in there waiting for us. I nearly passed out when my mum opened the door a bit and I saw curls.

"Mum, where's the bathroom?" I asked, doing a little potty dance just to help fool her.

"Walk down this hall, turn left, and it will be the fourth door to the right. You will see the restrooms sign above it." She says, trying to hold back her laugh.

I quickly pace down the hall, almost slamming into the wall as I took a sharp turn. Once I reached the bathroom, I stumbled in and started to brush my fingers through my hair.

"Calm down, Rebecca. They are just five boys who happen to be really famous and super hot that you are now going to work with." I tried calming myself down, but it didn't seem to work that much as I thought it would. I sighed heavily, lifting myself onto the counter.

"Are you okay, Rebecca?" My mum asked, poking her head through the crack between the door and the wall.

"Yeah, I just have a feeling that they won't like me." I pout, swinging my legs.

"Oh honey, they will love you!" She strides over, patting my knees.

"How do you know for sure?" I look down as I start to fiddle with my fingers. I felt my mum's hand brush through my hair.

"I just know it, you just have to believe it." She takes my hand and walks me out, leading me back down to the room where the five boys sat. One Direction.
