Unlocked

        She said, "Love is life..."👩
        He said, "Life is a mystery!"👨
        Back then, cool Jake was four,
        And pretty Gabriel was three!
  Eden Woods, the birth place of Jake, Gabriel and their forever flourishing friendship. Both, Jake and Gabriel were childhood buddies. Jake's lunacy included voicing out to Gabriel as she sat in her balcony. On hearing his jovial voice she used to run down the stairs in utter grace. Jake introduced himself as cool Jake and Gabriel claimed herself 'pretty'. Both shared a common interest in the field of athletics. Life had always been in their favour and thus each day was rapturous to their vision. They imbibed sportsmanship qualities at a very tender age.
       To them, an ordinary open area seemed like a verdant play field embraced with zeal and zest. They merrily rejoiced each others company to their hearts content. Gabriel would often rhyme to him by saying,                          " I'll always be there with you,
       Just one place, I cannot guarantee,
    That's where I'll close my eyes,       And you can freely pee..."                   
       To this, both laughed and rolled watching the bright orange skies turn twinkling black.
     Futher on, they shared moments of victory too. They bagged several medals in their athletic events. Once, in a long distance race, Jake won a gold medal and Gabriel won a silver. She aimed for a gold too. So she began weeping with her eyes as tiny as buttonholes. Jake said, "How about exchanging medals?" and did so like a macho by garlanding her, his medal. And on Gabriel's face sparkled a 120° smile...a heavenly big one...
     Why does everything sound so happy going? Where's the freaking twist in the story? Here it is...

     Jake had to shift to a distant state. They were too young or rather innocent to deal with emotions then, so Gabriel helped him pack his suitcase with crayons, toy guns, toy cars.....and simply bid him a goodbye. (No hugs. No kisses.) Innocent chaps...😂
     Just one day before he shifted, they had been to a park for a stroll. They were busy conversing as they swang. Jake said, "Do you know what my moma ( referring to his mother) says?"... She says, "Everything in the world is locked. You have to be the force to unlock it." To this, Gabriel said, "My moma says, 'You are like a master key! You can unlock the wonders you want.' "
     Days passed, months passed, years passed...they grew up to be teens. Jake became an extroverted and outgoing person. He attended parties and moreover enjoyed the thrills of life. On the other hand, Gabriel grew up to be a shy girl. Both of them stuck to their passion and mastered it. She glimpsed him in her memories but she was too engaged in her daily routine. Jake was among the most popular guys at college and the Mc dreamy of almost every girl... Therefore he had a huge troop of buddies to hang out with but at the back of his mind always remained the memories of his childhood amie Gabriel... They had not been in contact for 10 years but somewhere their hearts throbbed for each other.  Gabriel felt helpless as she couldn't trace his residence.
     Jake had to visit Eden Woods for some work. It was then that he decided to meet Gabriel. He tracked her contact number from some mutual friends. He called her, and when she picked, both of them experienced an unusual silence. Jake cleared his throat and initiated, "Wanna meet you now" and without a pause she exclaimed, "Me too!" On hearing the same jovial voice again, how could she not react like she always did! She exclaimed in rejoice"Let me put on my shoes...I'm on my way." Before Jake could say anything, she left not realizing the distance between them wasn't merely from her balcony to the door. Jake knew her well enough to undermine her standards of insanity. For a change he too decided to be credulous.
     They began to run in a absurd manner. The sun had enervated them totally, they were sweating profusely but the excitement of meeting each other kept them going. Things had certainly changed but their memories kept them on the go. It was 6 in the evening and both continued running  at an unstoppable pace. One may call it a mere coincidence but what happened was truly no less than a miracle : they bumped into one another gasping for breath. She fell over him and both of them gazed at each other. Its then when he said, "My lips are locked. Will you be my master key?" She cried, "You Bastard" and kissed him passionately.
     The story ends here but what happened next was : The cops fined them for creating nuisance on the streets.
   What one should imbibe is 1) "TRUE LOVE NEVER LOSES TRACK" 2) "NEVER KISS ON THE STREETS" 😜
