Chase's POV:

I remember waking up in a little box in my master's living room... My brothers and sisters squealing and whining around me, wanting milk. I look around. This is the first day of my life, and I have no idea whats going on. My owner is watching the new hit TV show, I am Cait, sitting on the couch with empty bottles of beer on the floor. My mother said he wasn't a very good owner, only I don't know the whole story.

Then the next day, my mother disappeared. Again, I don't remember much as I could have because I was a day old.

And then thats when I made the biggest mistake of my life: falling asleep.

My eyelids started getting heavy when I heard a bang on the door. But a child's voice. I ignored it assuming it was one of Master's child-servants delivering him his daily crate of booze. I glanced over to the television where my brother, Otto's, favourite show, Alaskan Bush People, was playing. He thinks that the dog, Mr. Cupcake, is our dad.

Anyway, what happened was the young boy, who happened not to be delivering alcohol, burst into the room. I ran to the corner of the box, afraid, and watched what when on: The boy with tall hair pulled out a small pistol and shot Master! (I still wonder if he felt anything in his sleep.) Then he ran over to the box me and my siblings were in. I was scared. Scared for my life. Scared for my brother's and sister's lives. He poked through us with a smug look on his face. I distinctly remember my sister chomp his hand and the strange boy slap her small head.

Then I felt a hand. I looked around dazed, and watched the ground below me get smaller and smaller, until the hands took me outside into a van.

Then it went dark.
