"What would your mother think?"
He grew up without a father and my father knew that too. He didn't have anyone to look up to and that's why it was so easy to get him. Then he fucked him over.
"You're like a son to me."
"How you feeling, kid?" Caz asked Calib, putting a bottle of water up to his mouth.
Calib just looked pass him to me. "You gon' let them do this to me?" He asked, squinting at me like he hated me.
I didn't reply. I felt bad because I didn't have control over this yet.
"Don't talk to him, nigga. I'm talking to you." Caz said, kneeling down as he shook the water bottle in his face.
Caz knew he hated that shit. "I don't give a fuck who you're talking to!" Calib yelled, smacking his head into Caz's.
I watched as Calib laughed for a minute before I got tired of the nigga preform. "Shut the fuck up, Caz! Shit." I yelled, forcing him to be quiet. "He don't want the water, leave him alone."
Calib looked to me like he hated me. Since we were ten, we were closer than any brother that ever shared blood with me. To see this happening to him was shameful but I couldn't do shit. He should've just listened to me when I warned him about my dad.
