The Party

As I walked up the front porch steps I knew this wasn't my thing. Sara and Nataly are already talking to Garret and Jason they are Gavin's older brothers. Gavin is my age he's 16 and his brother are 17 just a month apart from each other. So as I walk in Gavin walks over to me not even looking at his ex girlfriend Mia who is right behind me.

"Hey u want a drink?" Gavin says holding two cups.

"No thanks I'm good." I say trying to not let him see my nervousness. We have been talking sence the beginning of the new school year and I'm still nervous around him.

"So do you wanna come in or are you haveing more fun in the door way?" Gavin says as he stands out of my way with a little grin on his face.

As I walk in my phone vibrates, it's Sara."Dang girl your already talking to your crush, and I thought I was skilled." I read it again trying to understand what she ment when I realize Gavin is right behind me, I turn it off and put it in my very skinny and very high shorts. I turn around and see his smirk that makes me blush. I walk over to the couch and sit down and Gavin sits right by me trying to squeeze between me and Nataly.

"So... UH...how's ur summer so far?"Gavin says trying to look for something els to say.

"It's okay I geuss, what about you." I say think about how stupid my answer was.

"It's okay but better now that your here."he says meeting my eyes which makes me blush and look away. He grabs my chin with his soft hands and puts his face into mind and kisses me, it was so gentle that I let go of everything and close my eyes the whole room goes quite in my head. I stop kissing as someone grabs my sholder and pulls me away from Gavin who stands up as confused as I am. I turn around and it's Mia.

"What do u think your doing?" Mia says and it sounds like she's mad but by the way she's speaking I know she's drunk.

"GET YOUR HAND OFF OF HER!" Nataly says, she a fighter she does boxing like me she's kinda like my body guard and I'm kinda like hers. As Nataly says that the whole room goes quite and this time it wasn't in my head. Nataly squeeze ' s between me and Mia who is already about to fall, Gavin stands right behind me with his hands on my shoulders which makes me smile. Mia ' s new boyfriend Nick grabs Mia and says to her

"Comeon these girls aren't worth your time." I give him a dirty look and as I do that Gavin walks to Nick and whispers in his ear which makes his eyes go big so big that it looks like his eyes are gonna pop out. Gavin turns around and raps his arm around me and walks me outside to the meddow. He sits down on the bench and so do I. I look around and see the perfect view of the lake it looks so pretty under the moon. I turn to look at Gavin and he's already staring at me so I stare back.

"So...uh... what did you say to Nick?" I say trying to break the akwardness.

"It was nothing don't worry about it." He says trying to be convincing. Which doesn't make me convinced, but starts to as he Scoots closer to me and raps his arm around my waist and looks out on the lake. So I do to.
