Broken commitment

My grandmother used to say 'if someone really loves you they commit to you, and commitment is build by trust and faith. And if they really love you they would fight to keep u no matter the situation.'

So was his love that weak and blind or was it not strong enough.

'I didn't do it ! Please believe me, I went to bed alone...' I cried.

'You think me of a fool.' He said in a cold tone. he held my cheek tightly, hurting my jaws in process and said 'I will give you divorce you money hungry bitch but you will not get a single penny from me.'

With that the let go me harshly and walked out of the door and out of my life. Anguish took over my heart and I cried holding my chest, feeling it falling and reaping out.
