It was a dark night, with stars scattered across the sky. Leo and Calypso were both on Festus, leaving Ogygia together. Calypso was finally free from her curse! She had just woken up from a dream, which she could not remember.
"Leo?" Calypso said.
"Mmm?"
"You said you needed to fix Festus, right?" Calypso remembered.
"I already did that," he said.
"Really?" she asked, skeptically.
He nodded. "I put Festus in sleep mode, because it was getting rough for him. Festus was about to explode into dragon kebab and that would have been kinda bad for him and us. I managed to figure it out. I just needed to fix the red and green wires inside the bronze boards, attach the circuits together and connect the outer-"
"Ok," Calypso said quickly, "I understand," (although, she did not) "When did you do it, though?"
"When you were sleeping, Sunshine," he said. "You were talking in your sleep,"
"Really? What did I say?"
"That Valdez is the HOTTEST of course," he grinned mischievously. "BURNING HOT. Get it?"
Calypso rolled her eyes and groaned, wiping her eyes and yawning from her sleep. Leo laughed, and the dragon sped up as the stars around them sparkled. The wind blew faster and faster, cooling their faces.
"So, where are we going?" Calypso asked, after a couple minutes of comfortable silence.
"I was going to ask you that," Leo said, but he immediately knew where he wanted to go to. She noticed.
"There must be someplace you want to go to. Where's your home?" she asked, softly. "It's Camp Half Blood, right?"
Leo nodded, and he suddenly felt a huge pang of homesickness. If he was there right now, he would be yelling out the campfire songs and playing pranks on his friends. They must miss him. What did they think about Leo? Were they still looking for him, or did they think he was dead?
His excitement and optimism took over, though. It would work out! He would return! He couldn't wait to surprise them. Leo was thinking of entering Camp Half Blood in style, with a couple of fire works, Festus roaring loudly and some bright fire explosions here and there. Maybe he would have Calypso singing "Set the World on Fire" in the background. He kinda doubted she would agree to that.
"Yeah," Leo said, thinking wistfully. "Camp Half Blood. My friends..."
"Than, lets go," she said simply.
Leo looked at her in surprise. She didn't seem jealous, or sad. She also seemed eager.
"Why not?" she said. "You want to go, don't you, Leo? I do too."
"All right, Sunshine," he said smiling. "We've got some planning to do..."
He grinned. He was going back to Camp Half Blood, with Festus and Calypso! YES!
