BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! I squint one eyelid open to see where that stupid alarm clock was. I bring my fist up and slam it down on the snooze button. So much for a goodnight sleep.
If there's one thing I hate the most is the first day of school. So much insecurity, so much drama from last year and lastly so much new faces.
Well this year, I ended up on the wrong side of karma. Instead of first day of school, it's first day of almost two weeks of school for me. Instead of new faces, I'll be the new face. And there will definitely be so much insecurity.
Karma is a bitch and I guess I deserved it for what happened last year at my old school.
And to top that off, my first day and I was going to be late. I had half an hour to get ready. I hurry to the bathroom, brushing my teeth and starting the shower at the same time. I quickly rinse my mouth and hop in the shower.
After minutes of scrubbing and rinsing, I dried myself and started dressing. The hardest thing to me is finding the perfect outfit for a school morning, its like I'm stylishly challenged.
So hell, I settled with grey faded jeans, a black and white rock and roll T-shirt with some white Converse and a black leather jacket.
You can never go wrong with that outfit. I curled my wavy black hair with green highlights and applied a little bit of mascara with some lip gloss.
And with ten minutes to spare, I hop on my baby, my black Ducati, this motorcycle is my life. It gets me where I need to go with speed and time.
I speed off to my new school, to a new start, and to meeting new people and hopefully meet someone I can piss the hell out of. I grin.
Beacon Hills High School here I come.
I pull up in the driveway and got off my bike. I took a moment to let this school sink in. This school is HUGE, my old high school would look like a kitten compared to this school. How many students go here? Fuck what I said about insecurity, I fee like shitting my pants right now. I didn't have to time waddle in my own thoughts because the bell ring signaling I only had 6 minutes to make it to class.
Fuck it. Where the hell is my class? I rummage through my backpack to find my schedule and I came up with nothing. Holy shit! I forgot my schedule. Real smooth Simona, real smooth. First day of school and this is what you get yourself into. What class did it say I had first? I rack my brain trying to remember the contents of my schedule. Math. Yes! I had math first, that I remembered, but what building?
I let out a string of every foul curse word I know under my breath. I threw a frustrated punch at my motorcycle and howl in pain when my hand it the handle. Ouch! Now why did you do that Simona? I examine my hand and saw that it was a minor cut, nothing that won't heal over a few minutes. I look up to see some boys and girls sending me weird looks as if saying "What the fuck is wrong with this bitch."
Now what part of stay under the radar did you not understand Simona.
I fought the urge to scream at them to get lost, something I would of done if I was the same badass Simona from Tisdalle High School. No, this Simona is the Simona that promised herself she had enough trouble and that she's done starting them. This Simona is the Simona that my parents have been so trying to get me to be. And I'm going to try to be that Simona. I got expelled once, I'm not getting expelled again.
