One day someone asked me what's the basic difference between maths and science? And what is similar?
Of course we all know the answers. But let's just take it the other way.
I casually replied by saying "Maths teaches us that every problem has a solution. No matter how hard the question is, but if you calm down, think deeply and most important of all, practice, you will surely be able to find the solution. Some answers are in negative forms, or in fractions, or even in algebraic expressions. What they tell us is, even if the answer is negative, you have successfully solved the problem and remember, a negative plus a positive number equals to zero. So even if you have a negative answer, just add something positive and your outcome will be positive for sure. That's what maths teaches us, every problem will always have a solution. You just have to stay strong, have that desperation to get the right answer and if you try with all your mind, you are bound to reach a conclusion."
This is what I have learnt from maths honestly. See, we won't use the typical maths in our daily lives, but we will surely use sometime or the other what it has taught us.
And Science?
"Well science tells us that everything happens for a reason. There is always a reason behind the occurrence of any phenomenon. Science is my personal favourite. It makes me widen the bridge of my mind, and think of the every other possibility behind any reaction. They say every action has a reaction. Yes. All your actions reflect back to you if not taken intellectually. What is gravity? The force that keeps us attached to the ground. Right. Gravity tells us that what goes up has to come down at some point. So always remember, no matter how much ever successful or rich you have become, always remember that you started as a mere person and never stay contented. Life has a lot to offer to you. Your curiosity is what widens the bridge of your mind to open up, think more and more until you are happy that the research you made suits the phenomenon. Why do we exist? This earth? The universe? Why? Its obvious we have a reason to exist and so does every single thing in this vast universe. What have the great scientists taught us? That thinking a little out of the box and coming up with a rather different answer can be the only solution to a question that most of the others can't answer. So always view the world with a slightly different perspective, the world is a very beautiful place, all you need is a little different angle of looking at the things. Thats basically what science has taught us."
All in all, maths and science are co-related. How much ever complicated a problem is, there is always a solution. Whatever the phenomenon is, there always a reason.
