A figure crawled from the window, prowling their surroundings. They jumped from the window landing on the ground with a loud thud yet not possible for anybody to hear. Earlier in the night, however, loud screams could be heard from the same house she had came from. The memories of those screams roamed in everyone's heads as several of them struggled to call the police in a hurry, reporting suspicious activity.
The figure could now be identified as a girl, she swiftly started to walk down the dimly lit sidewalk. Sirens could be heard in the distance. They began to get closer. Closer. Until she finally saw the lights of a police car in the distance.
In the blink of an eye, the girl was gone, running quickly towards the wooded area near the neighborhood.
She perched herself upon the highest tree, getting a soft glance on the police investigation.
The investigation began.
The police found several corpses on the property.
The police were unable to locate any murder weapons.
The police were unable to find the perpetrator or perpetrators of the crime.
The police investigation ends and the corpses are disposed of properly by authorities.
The girl chuckled to herself as she hopped down from the tree. She began walking further through the wooded area until another neighborhood was visible.

Just something quick to publish
Sorry it's a little short but I have a bit of writers block at the moment.
Anyways I'm just going to call this little tidbit a prologue cause it's to short to be a chapter by itself.
I'll be sure to make each chapter AT LEAST 1000 words no less!
