Under the water, there lived a princess named Marine. She is the daughter of the King Under-Waves, and had a big dream of going on land and meeting humans, but her father forbid her to enter the surface.
Marine lives in the underwater kingdom with lots of Mer-guards and her Father. She wanted to get out of the kingdom for at least a few hours with her friends, but the king wouldn't allow her to escape onto the bad human world.
One day, she got fed up so much during breakfast, that her hair and tail glowed bright red. It was a special power that Marine couldn't hide and control.
She stormed off to her room and sat on her bed. Then she heard a knock, "Marine my sweet princess, are you okay?" It was her Father. "NO!", Marine yelled. "What's wrong sweetie?" her father asked calmly.
Marine said nothing. "If it's about the sandwich I made for you, don't blame me. It was Raymond's fault. He made it." Marine's Father said trying to make Marine laugh.
"Haha. Very funny Daddy." Marine said with lots of sarcasm. "Fine, it's because I'm sick of staying here. My friends don't get to see me, I'm bored of everything, and I'm sick of just eating the same thing every time! I can't even go to the surface!" Marine yelled with much temper.
"Come out sweetie. I need to speak with you, and not through your bedroom door," Marine's Father said.
