The Application

CHAPTER 1

"Taxi", I rushed out my flat and rushed down the street,

"Damn!" I mumbled. I couldn't be late on my first day I thought. Standing at the street corner I waited for the 8:00 bus hoping it would come soon.

After about 20 minutes the blue and white bus finally came.
"Hey Lila" the fat bus driver greeted me.

"Hey Larry" I answered.

"So where you off to today?" He questions.

Sometimes I get sick of him but just answers,

"Starting my new job today".

"Oh?" He ask.

"Yea" I replied a little irritated.

Before he could pest me any further I rush off to my seat at the back.

"Is this seat taken?" I ask a completely handsome stranger.

"Not anymore" he answers.

I hate when people be too charming. I quietly sit down and glance out the window.

"So what's your name?" He asks.
Rolling my eyes I glance back over to him, "It's Lila." I inform.

"Peter" He said holding out his pale hand. Shaking it I quickly take my hand and put it back in my lap.

Finally the bus came to a stop. Looking at the tall building I rush up to it.

Entering the rotating door I was stunned at the amount of people working at Lancelot corporation.

I quickly walk over to the receptionist and tell her my name.

"Take that elevator and then right, there they'll be another receptionist waiting for you.".

Telling her thanks I headed to the big wide silver elevator door.

Waiting for the elevator, a tall handsome, dark haired man came up from behind me.

"Hello". Looking over at him I thought to myself,

Hugh, it seems its my day for people to pest me.

But being the polite person I I turn and say hello.

"New?" He ask again.

"Yea just came here today" I inform him.

Finally the elevator door opened and I quickly stepped in hoping my day wouldn't be awful.

So this is first chapter and its short but I promise the other chapters will be longer.
