Children hear about them in fairytale books and nursery rhymes, but tell me what you think after they take over your planet.

I awoke to the sound of silence. I turned my head to listen deeper, but the only sound was the cold, sharp, wind coming from my window. Around this time of year, most people are cleaning for the family members that are coming to stay with them for the holidays.
In this case, they'll be staying a little longer than they had planned.

6 Months Later
The day they came, I don't remember much. I don't remember what they sound like, or what they did to people. I just know that they came and they took control.
Control.
That is the key word. Control is what brought them here. And lack of it won't be the reason they leave. If they do...
They've come to take over. To erase the human population. I don't know what they want with our planet, but it's not ok to just go and take it away from us. I'm going to fight back.
Even if I'm blind.
