The smell of bitter caffeine filled the shop as another brew began. A bell chimed as another person entered, his hand waving, a smile shining white on his face.
"Good morning!"
His voice was cheery, and seemed to make the whole room brighten with a mere two words.
Turning around and looking towards my customer, I put on a happy smile, and took his order.
"What'll it be?" I asked, studying him.
Clearly, he was a highly ranked soldier. His outfit was similar to that of Kureto Hiiragi, a well known higher up. This man looks vaguely familiar.
"Just toast, please." He rested his chin on his palm.
"Sure thing." I smiled, turning on my heel to go back to the kitchen area. The bell at the door rang once again, alarming me of Guren's presence.
I sighed, putting my hand on my hip, and stared at him.
"What are you doing here?"
"Is that any way to treat your customer?" He spoke with his eyes half lided.
"Guren," the light haired man stood up and looked at him with a smile, "let the young lady do her job."
"Yeah, Guren, let me do my job." I mimicked, making the blonde chuckle at me. "So you two are friends?"
"No. This is Shinya Hiiragi." Guren gestures to him.
"Aw, Guren, I thought we were friends!" Hiiragi feigned sadness and dramatically put his hand on his head. Guren sighed, and rolled his eyes. He took his seat across from Shinya, and ordered a coffee.
After about an hour of talking with them, the two left, leaving me to a long day of boring work.
