As James rode in the car with his mom and dad past Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, he remembered the day his best friend, Todd, went missing. James was 9 years old at the time, and all he remembers was a greenish-yellow bunny rabbit luring Todd and a few other kids into the backstage room of the restaurant. That was the last time he ever saw Todd.
James sighed. His mom knew why. She was there and all she saw was the rabbit closing the door behind him as he entered the backstage. After that, she thought she heard screaming coming from the room. She didn't tell anyone, as she thought it was from the kids playing games. James' dad, however, was an employee at the place, walking around ready to notify anyone if someone got hurt. "I know it's hard to lose a friend, James," said his mom. "It really is," James quietly said to himself.
The next day, Jason, Charlotte, and Carl met in James' yard. They were planning on sneaking out of their homes and meeting at Freddy's at about 11:45 P.M. They were going to explore the abandoned place.
"I'm not sure if this is a good idea..." said Carl. He was usually a little paranoid about things, as he was the youngest of the group. "C'mon, Carl, stop being such a chicken!" teased Jason, Who was the oldest.
