Chapter 1-
*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*
Is the first thing I hear when I wake up, and of course my alarm clock as to go off on a Saturday. I get up and turn off my alarm clock, and attempt to fall asleep but I can't.
"Great," I mumble. I decide to just stay up for the rest of the day, even though it's 5:00 a.m. I go downstairs and eat breakfast, after I'm done I go upstairs and get dressed. I end up wearing a gray and blue sports crop top with gray and blue exercising pants. What's ironic is that I'm not going to exercise.. my whole day is based on video games, food, netflix, and sleeping. My first event of the day is watching shows/movies on Netflix. I go to the kitchen and get tons of food and drinks. Once I sit down I turned on Netflix, and decided to watch AMC The Walking Dead. I've been watching it since it first came out, ever since then I've been obsessed with the show. When I finished season 2 I looked at the clock and it was 1:00 p.m. Just when I was about to start season 3 I got a text from my best friend Chase.
Chase: Hey
Sage: Heyy
Sage: Wyd?
Chase: Nothing :(
Sage: Is something wrong?
Chase: I'm fine.
Sage: Chase I know something's wrong please tell me..
Chase: I said I'm fine.
Sage: Chase.. please.
Chase: I. Am. Fine.
Sage: Please..
Chase: FINE!! SOMETHING IS WRONG!!
Sage: Okay.. why won't you tell me, you know you can trust me.
Chase: OH REAAALLLY? YOU TOLD LILLY I LIKED HER!! SHE WALKED UP TO ME TODAY AT THE PARK AND TOLD ME SHE WOULD NEVER DATE ME!! YOUR SUCH A FUCKING BITCH!! I HATE YOU!! DON'T EVER TALK TO ME AGAIN!! DO YOU HEAR ME!!!
Sage: Chase I never told her.. I promised I would never tell her or anyone else.. you know me Chase, we've been best friends since Kindergarten..
Chase: I GUESS I NEVER KNEW YOU AFTER ALL!!!
Sage: That's a lie Chase.
Chase: Our whole friendship was a lie.
Sage: Chase your my best friend in the entire world! I don't want to lose you.
Sage: Hello?
Sage: Please
Sage: Chase?
Sage: Chase Dawson?
Sage: Please Chase, please?
I threw my phone and started crying. I never told anyone who he liked, and what made it even worse I've had a crush on him ever since I met him. Having to know he liked someone else and not me killed me inside, over that he never knew and will never know my love for him. I stop crying and get up to pick up my phone. I checked to see if it was broken and thank god it wasn't. I wish my mom was here to help me, but my parents are in California, while I'm in Georgia. That's when my dad called me once I answered he had panic and horror in voice.
"Hey"
"SAGE!! MOM IS IN THE HOSPITAL! THERE WAS A HORRIBLE ACCIDENT!!"
"WHAT HAPPENED!!"
"A FIRE BROKE OUT IN THE HOUSE, AND SHE BEEN BURNED BADLY.. SHE MIGHT NOT MAKE IT!!"
