Excuse Me

Part 1

"Yay the fam is all together" We hear Alex call from the front of Fratelli Cafe, Val and I turn around to face Alex practically skipping towards us. He came over and gave us all hugs and kisses, yes even Val, Maks and Teddy got kisses. He sat down in the empty chair next to Val and we all started chatting about everything we had been up to in the past 3 months. Between DWTS, KC Undercover, my album, Valentin, the Dance With Me studios and every other project the fam had going on it was hard to all get together for a meal generally.

2 hours of eating and talking later we had practically shut the place down, a few people were coming in and out ordering take away and coffee but no one was hanging around but us. Our plates were being cleared when Fine Chinacame on over the speakers "oh my god Val" I screeched as I got up pulling him up with me "do you still remember the dance?" I ask as he starts to dance in par with the part of the song that was playing.

"Of course you do" I remark shaking my head and joining along with him, by the time the song ends a crowd had gathered, we had added choreography and it was being filmed by just about everyone. We ended with a kiss on the lips and the now full cafe applauded loudly, we took our seats again and reached for our glasses of water "that was amazing Valentin" a chirpy girl said from behind us. Maks, Teddy and Nicole's eyes widened at the sight of this girl. Val, Alex and I turned around and Val was immediately out of his seat once he realised who it was.

"Oh my god, it's been forever Aneta" He gave the girl, Aneta a long hug before the rest of the table got up and did the same exchanging hellos. Still sitting down I cleared my throat waiting for some sort of introduction "Oh right" Val said flustered "Aneta, this is Zendaya. Zendaya, Aneta" I got up and shook her tanned hand. I smiled "Hi, how are you doing?" I asked in my sweet tone that was fake as hell for me "Hi, Zendaiya is it? Such a unique name. I'm good thank you" I let go of her hand and plastered a fake smile to my face "it's Zen-day-a" I say slowly with the sweet tone going strong.

I try hard not to role my eyes, Aneta is a gorgeous brunette with amazing blue eyes and a very obvious Russian accent. "Come join us" Val says grabbing a chair from behind us and nestling it between his and Alex's seats. We all sit back down as I deserts and coffees are brought to us, I'm delivered a off menu chocolate sundae that has always been made for me since the first time I came here with Val after our season while everyone else got stock standard menu deserts either tortes or cake slices.

We pretty much ate in silence besides Val talking to Aneta, I glance at the time on my phone it was 10:30 pm and I had an early start on set tomorrow "hey babe" I say turning to Val "One sec babe" he replies not even bothering to look at me. I roll my eyes and pick up my phone, I unlock it and text Alex who is she? the message sends and Alex's phone goes off an ex he replies instantaneously. I roll my eyes again and finish off my ice cream, I continue small talk with Maks and Nicole mainly talking about the up coming wedding with Nicole, where I was asked to a bridesmaid.

It had been 30 minutes since Aneta had shown up and Val hadn't spoken to anyone else but her and it was almost 11, I needed to leave but I couldn't get my own boyfriends attention long enough for me to say goodbye. I picked my bag off the floor, pulling some money out and putting it on the table getting up "I have to go guys, shooting starts early tomorrow" I hug and kiss everyone that was not Aneta and Val goodbye "don't worry about it" Maks whispered in my ear as I hugged him "I'm not" I whispered back. Alex said something similar and I smiled softly before leaving, not bothering to get Val's attention Had to go, u looked busy. Didn't want to disturb. Night I text him as I get into my car.

Val's P.O.V

My phone vibrates in my pocket I pull it out to see it's a message from Z Had to go, u looked busy. Didn't want to disturb. Night I frown and turn to my right seeing the empty seat where she was sitting "where did she go?" I asked the table. "She had to go home" Alex says from behind Aneta "why?" "shooting starts early or something like that" Nicole said taking a sip of her coffee "and I didn't get a goodbye?" I asked confused as hell "maybe if you had paid attention, or even spoke to your current girlfriend you would of" Maks says unamused annoyance lacing his tone.

I looked at Aneta guiltily, I had totally ignored Z for her and now she was gone and probably pissed off to the max and I don't blame her. I'm sorry boo. I love you <3 <3 xx I finally text her back, nervous for her reply. Aneta hadn't said anything since the tables exchange of Zendaya's where-a-bouts "I should go Val. It was good seeing you guys" she finally said with what looked like guilt in her eyes, we all said our goodbye to her and she left leaving me with an unimpressed firing squad.

"Zendaya said thanks for a great night, and that she loves us all" Alex announced to the table breaking the silence I threw my phone onto the table "the phone did nothing wrong, you on the other hand" Maks said from across me with a slight smirk. I threw a sugar stick at him which hit him square on the chest and landed back on the table "why didn't anyone say anything?" the table started to laugh and "bro, she tried" Alex says next to me trying to calm his laughing at the same time.

I looked back over to where she was seated and noticed the two 20$ bills next to her plate my phone vibrated on the table and the conversation that was happening around me stopped. I picked up my phone with all eyes on me mhmm"oh queen Z is pissed" Alex says with a smirk I slap his arm and pull out my wallet pulling out a hundred dollar note and taking Z's twenties, which I intend on giving back to her. I get up and say my goodbyes half heartedly.

I get into my car and call her, it goes straight to voice mail "Hey it's Z leave me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can byeee" I groan and wait for the standard beep "babe, Z. I'm so sorry please. I'm on my way, I'll see you soon". I hang up and call again only for it to go straight to voice mail again. I get out of my car and head back into Fratelli's "Alex call Z" I say as I walk back to the table I was sitting at moments earlier "why?" "just do it"

He pulls out his phone and finds her name in his contacts, he calls her and puts it on speaker. Only this time it rings instead of going to voicemail "Hey Alex, sorry for leaving like that earlier" "Hey Z, it's all good" I pull the phone out of his hand and turn it off speaker before putting it to my ear "Z, baby?" "I don't wanna talk Val. Goodnight" the line goes dead and I groan handing Alex his phone back "thanks" I say, walking out with my head down and my heart dragging behind.
