as the sun sets,

1- have faith

today doesn't have to determine tomorrow

please don't drown yourself in sorrow

hope slowly fades away

as the sun quietly sets down in dismay

everyone makes mistakes

try to minimize them if you can

you must realize you still have faith

you can be on top of the world

for even the slightest of actions

silence and time can speak

but movements can more surely seek

please don't wander

don't let your heart slip down your sleeve

chains are yet to be broken

or maybe you just have not yet realized

you have already been freed by them

you can move mountains with a thought

you can stop the waves from drowning you with your heart

if only you keep in mind that

if bad things can happen, so can the good

believe in it and the waves might just bring it to you

that you may be able to bring them in good spirits to others too

instead of the waves plaguing the skies of your heart

they can now only help you learn from mistakes

and keep your head up 

for you have now realized the miracles of your life with new faith
