Danny's P.O.V.
I finally asked him what I've wanted to ask him for the past three years. What I've been dreaming of asking the tall, blonde haired, green eyed toned and leaned bodied 18 year old boy sitting in front of me in my desk chair in my room. I began cracking my knuckles as the tension inside me was boiling over.
"Say something." I comanded. He blinked at me. Then blinked again.
"You called me over to your house at 2 O' Clock in the morning to ask me if I wanted to go out with you later for dinner?" He asked in his signature emotionless mono-toned voice, as his peircing green eyes peered into my soul. That was one of my favorite things about my best friend. They seemed to be able to cut through you and all the bullshit and get to the core of a person. People always said they looked demonic, even Cody's own mom. I thought they were beautiful. Also the reason my favorite color was green. He could make hardened criminals run with just a glance. I've seen it happen. We were walking home from catching the new action movie, it was getting dark, and these two guys stepped out of an alley and told us to give up our money as they showed us their knives.
Cody stared dead into their eyes, his green irises turning stormy and menecing. He looked deadly and dangerous and ....freaking HOT! That's when I realised I was madly in love with my psychopathic best friend. And gay it seemed.
The guys looked at each other then at Cody, who squinted, threating them to try something. His eyes glowing in the moonlight. They turned and sprinted back the way they came. Guess they figured out who they were messing with. And they didn't want any. Cody had a huge reputation on the street as a psychopath who would more likely rip your throat out as tell you the time of day.
"Yes." I answered.
"Uh huh. And why couldn't you ask me with a text?" He asked as he folded his arms across his chest.
"Because you don't ask someone out on a date with a text." I said as I ran my hand through my dark brown short hair.
"A date?" He asked raising an eyebrow at me. "Since when do you date guys?"
"I don't. I don't date girls either you know that."
"Now I'm confused." He said as his brows came together in a thoughtful look. "Didn't you just ask me out?"
"Yeah. You're the only person I've ever wanted to date."
"Oh." He said turning to look out the open window he crawled in. "Why?"
"Why do I want to date you?" I asked to which he nodded still staring out the window. "Because I...." I swollowed the lump in my throat and tried again. "Because I love you, Cody."
His head whipped around to stare at me. Looking me dead in the eye. His face was blank, unreadable. I stared back and waited for him to say something. He blinked then went back to looking at the window.
"Alright." He nodded.
"Alright?"
"I'll go on a date with you."
"You will?" I asked as a smile split my face. He nodded. I lept from my seat on my bed and threw my arms around his neck, hugging him to me. "Great. Awesome." I said, breathing in his scent. I let go of him and stepped back and sat back down.
"May I go back home and back to bed now Danny?"
"You're already here so if you want you can just spend the night."
He nodded and stood up. His ab muscles moved as he took his shirt off and placed it on the desk chair. I stared feeling myself harden as he unzipped his jeans. He leant down and untied his shoes, taking them off. A tent was forming in my sweatpants as he took his jeans off and placed them with his shirt. I quickly pulled my blankets onto my lap as he turned to face me.
"Are we going to share your bed or do I-"
"We can share my bed. " I said quickly, cutting him off. My face began to heat up as he raised a questioning brow at me. He shook his head and walked around to the other side of the bed. He got in and pulled the blanket over him. I copied him and laid down on my back. My bed wasn't that big so our shoulders and arms were touching. I grabbed his hand and intwined our fingers. I looked over at him to find his eyes closed.
"Is this okay with you?" I whispered. He nodded not opening his eyes. I looked away and closed mine. Even though I was so excited to have him in my bed and going on a date with me I quickly fell asleep.
