Sunny day, kids playing, what a relaxing day. I sat gracefully on the bench with my Earl Grey tea in my hands, sipping from it time to time. I twirled a piece of my golden hair being bored as ever. I closed my eyes enjoying everything around me. "For a fourteen year-old lady, you seem to be very mature." I opened my eyes boredly, I know that voice.

"Well hello, L." My eyes met a pair of black orbs showing no emotion whatsoever. L sat beside me in his usual crouching position.

"How is my favorite snake?" He asked looking at the children playing. If he meant snake, I think he's referring to my eyes. My eyes were red like blood which always scare the hell out of children.

"Good actually still behind Near and Mello but other than that I'm good." I said with a smirk. L bit his thumb again, he was in deep thought. "So how is the case? Have a lead?" I looked at him still emotionless.

"Aren't girls your age are obessed with boys, hanging out with friends and glued to their phones?" He said in a monotone voice.

"I'm not one of those girls." I sipped on my tea. "L, you should know that, for being my mentor and all." I smirked as I looked at him. He was also looking back at me, smiling. "Its the first time I ever saw you smile... You should always smile it looks good on you." I said still emotionless as ever. He then shifted back into his emotionless face.

"Letting my emotions out will affect the case dearly." He said, makes sense. Just then Watari walked up to us, giving L the signal they had to go. "Good bye, Lilian." He smiled again and I smiled back. My real name, its been a long time. "Lilian, this is for you." He gave me a box when I looked inside there was a golden hair clip with a diamond heart on it. It was beautiful.

"Farewell, Lawliet. Thank you." He nodded and he walked away with his hands in his pockets in his crouched position. I stood up with my tea and headed back to Wammy's kitchen. I gave the cup to a woman named Wilma, who was incharge in the kitchen. She smiled at me, but I just nodded back.

I walked out of the kitchen into the empty hallways. "Well, well, Little miss Lili." Oh, someone used my alias.

"Good morning, Emilia." I said with my eyes closed here we go again. Elizabeth, the girl who was always after my blood.

"I see you didn't change your attire at all. Do you know anything about fashion?" She chuckled along with her group. "White dress with a blue ribbon at the back? The ribbon ain't even noticable!" She said as she tugged the ribbon back. I calmfully fixed the ribbon behind my back. "And that golden hairclip given to you by L? It doesn't fit a girl like you! It fits on me!" Her hand was about to take the clip but I stopped it. I flipped her hand behind her back and pushed her against the wall.

"Don't touch it, cause if you do I might break your arms." I let her go and she collapsed on the floor, face first. She held her arm while crying in pain.

"Lili!" Roger exclaimed while passing through a sea of children looking terrified. He said looking angrily at me but I just crossed my arms across my chest and stared at him emotionless. I looked back at the dissolving crowd, I lost interest when I saw Near.

He stood there cuddling with his toy robot. He also stood there with Mello and Matt. Mello standing far away as possible from Near and Matt glued to his DS. I walked away towards my room.

{Near's POV}

They watched her walk away towards her room with composure. "She's hot and crazy, a deadly mixture for a girlfriend. What do you think happens when she has her period?" Matt commented and Mello looked at him with disgust.

"She doesn't, I read her personal profile she doesn't have menstruation because she has somewhat a syndrome." Near said calmly. Matt and Mello looked at him weirdly.

"I read everyone's personal profile." Near said while twirling a piece of his white hair.

"You are weird, Near. Did you know that?" Mello said while biting his chocolate.

"Let's go back to our room, I want to finish this stupid game." Matt suggested and they followed him.
