The Fabled Knight in Shining Armor

I saw my "knight in shining armor",
He stood tall, the sunlight reflecting off his metal chest.
He beckoned me over and I went reluctantly, what was this for?
I saw his face and it was sexy as hell, masculine and sharp but with a feminine delicacy as well.
He looked at me with an adoring gaze, did he think I was a damsel in distress?
He unmounted his bronze stallion which stood behind a fierce mare,
And all the while, all I could do was stare.
He pulled a chunk of metal from his saddle, and ordered me to build a fire.
So I did and soon it was burning hotter than a pyre.
But it wasn't for a funeral, rather it was something much more beautiful.
Metal was put in my hand and he passed on his skill.
Soon, I had crafted a weapon which could kill.
But this story does not end here, it continues to become more queer.
For he taught me how to use my blade,
It cut through the air, singing it's song,
Until it was embedded in my memory, never to fade.
I had felt satisfied, it has been quite long.
See I wasn't living a bad life, but it was dull.
Now I felt something akin to a pull.
Was it my destiny? Or would you call it fate?
I do not believe in either, they are too desolate.
A wise one would call it the awakening of desire,
To travel the world and gain experience, to admire.
My knight had given me the necessary tools.
The chosen one was me, not any of the fools.
Would he be my companion? Or did he have his own trail?
I could not help but wonder, although I knew, by myself, I would not fail.
He again mounted his stallion, leaving me the mare,
As we both made a decision, one my heart could bear.
He smiled and rode away fast, chasing the night.
I stayed back, not bothering to give a fight.
My knight, I've barely seen him since,
Because he'd given me all I need, to find my prince.
