I wake up to my alarm, still half-asleep. It's deafening, high pitched beeps make my eardrums vibrate and ring. I quickly turn off the alarm and roll over on my back. I think about what today will be like and how everything will go. Maybe I'll meet more fans, maybe I'll watch a movie, maybe I'll be like Dan and have an existential crisis (probably not), who knows? Maybe I'll even find the love of my life!
Before I think too deeply, I stop myself and swing my legs over the side of the bed. I look over to my night stand as I see a bright glow from my phone. A new text message from Dan. It says,
"Phil, I need your help for a sec. Come into my room when you're ready."
I reply, "Okay, just a second. I woke up a few minutes ago."
"Yeah, I know I heard your alarm. FROM IN HERE!"
"Hah sorry. Alright I'll get ready now."
"Sounds good."
I put my phone down and get up. I nearly fall over due to being so tall and getting up too fast. I walk over to my dresser and pick out a shirt. I choose my black bat shirt that Dan seems to think is extremely distracting. So I 'll wear it just to be a troll and I like it, so why not? To match the black shirt, I think I'll wear black jeans. Also, they're the only clean pants I have, so... I put on some socks from my sock drawer. One Spiderman and one plain blue. Yaya.
I start walking to my door to go into Dan's room when I hear the doorbell ring. From the other room, I hear Dan fall out of his chair and knock over the lamp.
"AGH, SHIT!" Dan yells from his room.
I burst out laughing and again I hear Dan laugh.
"Shut up, Phil. Go get the door please!"
"Got it." I say, still laughing. I walk over to the front door and a man about age 20. He seems very concerned...
