Lately (y/n) has been struggling with her Korean studies and her teacher has been worried. She went from being a C grade student to a U grade. (basically from average to so bad they can't grade it) One day the teacher asked (y/n) to stay behind after class. She was quite scared, she knew how badly she was doing but she hated getting in trouble. "(y/n), I have noticed how you have being getting low marks on your tests recently, I would like you to have a tutor. It is compulsory, you have no say in the matter." (y/n)'s jaw dropped, a what? she couldn't have a tutor, she would just drop Korean. She could do that right? Before she had the chance to word her thoughts a boy came into the room. "sorry i'm late sir, I kind of had an accident that couldn't be avoided." The boy then bowed to the teacher and turned to her smiling. "(y/n), this is Kim Namjoon, he will be your tutor. Now go get started, you can go home after an hour of studying okay" the teacher said while ushering them out of the classroom. They walked down the corridor towards the library in silence. The boy, Namjoon, occasionally humming or skipping. Once they arrived they went into one of the private study rooms and Namjoon got out a load of books.
"You know I don't bite. You can talk to me (y/n), I know you won't have wanted a tutor, but I'm here to help." Namjoon said then he smiled his broad smile and pulled out her seat for her. She sat down and began to study, to Namjoon's surprise she was actually quite good with Korean, it turns out she only had difficulties with writing it. Once the hour was up Namjoon stretched and yawned, turning towards (y/n) he said "shall we call it a day then? Lets meet up again tomorrow okay? And we should arrange some time over the weekend." He pulled out a pen and wrote down his name and number on a slip of paper and gave it to her. She simply nodded and thanked him, they left the library together and headed toward the exit. Once they were outside they saw how heavily it was raining. "Oh no. I didn't bring my umbrella..." (y/n) said as she eyed the rain pouring from the sky, shivering from the cold. Namjoon walked up to her and pulled his blazer around her shoulders, she looked up at him to find him smiling down at her. He pulled out his umbrella and put it up, he turned towards her and motioned for her to come towards him. Cautiously she approached him, he slung his arm around her shoulder and started walking her home. She was tankful for his kindness and rested her head on his shoulder as they walked. They talked about their interests while they walked then they arrived at (y/n)'s house. "would you like to come in Namjoon? At least until the rain dies down. Please, come and get dry." She pulled the boy inside and took his blazer off and put it on the radiator. She motioned for him to go into the living room and then she disappeared. She ran around the house and came back and handed Namjoon a towel and some sweat pants and a shirt that she stole from her brother. " Go have a shower, I will dry your uniform". Namjoon thanked her and went to have his shower, he left his uniform outside the room so (y/n) could dry it. Once he got out of the shower he came into the livingroom drying his hair with the towel, (y/n) had made him some hot coco and tapped the seat next to her for him to come and join her. He went over and sat next to her and took a sip from the drink. "Namjoon, do you think you could teach me a little bit more today? I think I was really starting to understand earlier." she asked him with puppy dog eyes. He smiled and nodded then proceeded to teach the girl. After a few hours the two were passed out on the sofa with Korean workbooks all over them. (y/n)'s mum came home and chuckled at the sight of them, she pulled a blanket over the two and turned the light off leaving them to dream.
