Who is Siri?
Oh, she's just that built-in lady in my IPhone. She's been gracing the Apple company since the IPhone 4S. She's pretty much Apple's mascot. If you ask Siri who she is, she'll say, "I'm Siri, Your virtual assistant."
Okay.
Does Siri have a favorite color?
If asked this one of her replies is, "My name is Siri, and I was designed by Apple in California. That's all I'm prepared to say."
This got me thinking. Where did the name Siri come from? Is Siri based on a real person? She's not willing to tell me anything about herself besides her name.
This could have something to do with her dark past. Yes, contrary to popular believe Siri was a real person. Until... Well, we'll get to that later.
Unlike how she is on your phone, Siri had human emotions and feelings. She was a kind, gentle, optimistic girl... who killed many people, including her own family.
Until she became widely known as Siri, her name was Destony. She was destined to one day be trapped in the prison of the first Iphone 4S and be enslaved to the user.
