It's Monday morning, 6:43 am and Jamie,Lydia and Kaylee are all walking to school. It's their first day of High School. "I can't believe we are attending Jefferson High School. Cause you know it's like the greatest school in the valley." Jamie said. "You're such a nerd Jamie. It's just a school, learning isn't as fun as you make it sound." Kaylee responded. "You know what Kaylee I'm tired of you always putting me down about school! I love school and learning. Maybe if you actually put forth effort in your school work and got good grades you would feel the same way I do!" Jamie rudely replied. "GUYS! ENOUGH! We all have different opinions now both of you shut up and let's go to our classes." Lydia chimed in.
Kaylee glared at Jamie and walked to her locker. "Is there a proble..." Lydia stopped her and whispered "Jamie calm down she's probably just having a bad morning. The last thing we need is to make a huge scene on the first day here."
Jamie rolled her eyes and walked to class.
Mrs.Walker room 204, "Here we go...first day of high school English." Jamie mumbled. Jamie walked into class and the first thing she saw was this boy, he had perfectly layered brown hair, a giant white smile that could brighten anyone's day and the biggest blue eyes. Jamie looked him directly in the eyes and flipped her hair. I wonder what his name is...he's so cute like ugh Jamie thought to herself. She looked at the sign on the board You may choose your seat. Make sure you chose wisely. :)
So of course Jamie sat right next to this charming boy. He glanced at her as she was applying her pink, shiny lip gloss. "Hello" he said. Jamie's bright and beautiful hazel eyes widened "H-h-hello" she replied. "What's your name?" he asked. "My name is Jamie. What's your name?"
"My name is Hayes, Hayes Grier."
"I love that name oh my gosh."
"Why thank you you're name isn't so bad either." Hayes said to her as his cheeks turned a pasty red color.
"Awe thank you so much" Jamie said blushing majorly.

"Hello class. My name is Mrs.Walker and I am your 9th grade English teacher. I would like to make this year the best one yet. Let's begin with introducing ourselves. Shall we? Let's start from the front and go to the back."
"You first" Mrs.Walker said as she pointed to Hayes. Hayes stood up and said "Hello my name is Hayes Grier and I play football outside of school. I am the QB of my team."
"Thank you Hayes" Mrs.Walker said.
Hayes gave her a simple nod.
"Hello my name is Jamie Newton and I am a very shy person but I like making new friends. I am looking forward to this years class."
"Thank you Jamie" Mrs.Walker replied.
By the time we got to the last person there was only 5 minutes left of class.
"Okay class we will get into the rules tomorrow. For right now just talk to your neighbor."
Hayes immediately turned to Jamie and said "Well you're my neighbor so let's talk."
Jamie looked at him and smiled shyly. "Okay 'neighbor' haha"
Jamie and Hayes had a conversation until the end of the period.

RING! RING! RING!
"Oh there's the bell see you tomorrow Jamie."
"Okay bye Hayes nice meeting you."
" You too Jamie!"
Jamie rushed crazily to her locker. There was Lydia standing there waiting for her so they could go upstairs and get Kaylee to walk home. "OH MY GOSH! GUESS WHAT HAPPENED?!" Jamie said excitedly.
"What?!" Lydia replied with an eager tone.
"So get this, there is this hella fine kid in my math class right?"
"OHHH GIRL GET IT"
"Anywayssss he said hi to me and told me his name and at the end of class we talked for the last 5 minutes."
"Aweee love birds." Lydia said.
"Oh shhhh I just met him. This doesn't mean anything."
They began walking upstairs to meet Kaylee at her locker.
"Oh shut up you're gorgeous. I'm sure he's totally into you." Lydia replied.
"Thanks sis" Jamie said with a smile on her face.

"HEY KAY!" the two of them screamed down the hall.
"HEY LYDS, HEY JAMIE!"
"Ready to go?"
"Yes"
Kaylee locked her locker up and grabbed her silver and blue Jansport backpack up off the floor and walked down the hallway.
Jamie explained her day to Kaylee.
"Aw that's cute. Love birds." Kaylee said.
"THATS WHAT I SAID!!!" Lydia chimed in.
"OH SHUSH YOU GUYS! HAHA."
Jamie replied to the two of them.

"At least you get boys i'm too ugly for them. There's 2 really cute guys in my class but I'm too nervous to speak to them." Kaylee said.
"Just talk to them. You're beautiful girl!" Lydia said very sweetly.
"Yeah I agree with Lyds." Jamie says with a smile on her face.
"Thanks guys I love you." Kaylee replied very happily.
"I love you too" they replied at the same time.

"Well...how was your day Lyds?" Jamie asked.
"Eh it was just a first day with cute boys. None of them talked to me tho."
"You gotta talk to them girl!! Come on I bet their jaws will drop once they see you. They won't know what to say."
"No pshh come on now Kaylee that's such a lie."
"It's really not though she is just speaking the truth."
"Oh you two are ridiculous."
Lydia said laughing a little.
"But you know you love us. haha" Jamie said.
"Sure do." Lydia responded.

They all walked onto the porch and opened the front door to their house. There was their mom standing at the door waiting to hear all about their days.
"Hey girls! How was your first day at High School?"
"Hey mom" they all said together "it was good."
One by one they all went running up stairs to their rooms.
"You'll have to tell me all about your days at dinner girls!" Mom yelled from the living room."
"Don't worry mom we will!" Kaylee said.
"Yeah we will." both Jamie and Lydia agreed.
"Don't you worry" Jamie mumbled to herself "My day was too amazing to not share."
