All three of us were sitting and looking up at the stars in the middle of the woods. We were laying under a spot where none of the trees covered the sky. It was a warm night. We could hear crickets and the warm breeze felt nice against our skin. "Do you ever wonder what's going to happen in your future?", Sky asked. I replied with "all the time". "I guess", scar said. We kept chatted how we wanted something extraordinary to happen to us.
And it did
As we were talking we felt the ground shake. "What was that?" Scar asked. "I don't know but it didn't sound good", I replied. "It can't be an earthquake because this is Michigan", Sky said. We felt the ground shake again and we were panicking. "Guys try to stay calm" I said. "Let's get out of here", Sky said extremely shaken up. We all ran.
A tree fell as soon as we passed it which made us scream. We ran and ran until we got out of the woods and back into town. It was late so no one was out. "Guys I think we're good now." That was the last thing I heard before everything went dark.
