In the beginning, in the darkest part of the universe, formed the planet Calypso. Its trees possessed emerald, green leaves, roots that extended deep into its earth, and its creatures possessed a beauty that no other could ever hope to have. It was plentiful of seas and bore the finest crops, it had fluffy, snow white clouds that spiraled around the planet, and its three suns shined down upon it, revealing all the rich detail, as if gods crafted the planet, but in the end all beauty must be protected, and so it was, the Peacekeepers, who would guard Calypso from all that would seek to harm it. They were born in a flash, no idea how they exist, but they knew their purpose, they could feel it in their hearts, protect Calypso. There were six of them, they were Malachi, deity of light, Melody, deity of harmony, Adra, deity of seas, Orion, deity of the hunt, Serenity, deity of winds, and the most notorious among them was Daemon, deity of death. Calypso remained in its glorious state of beauty and the winds were calm. Soon though a change came, Malachi brought to Calypso a species known as humans, he led them as their king and they quickly advanced, starting the Calypsian Civilization, an era of inventions and technological advancements. With the rise of man, another species branched off from them, demigods. The half God half mortal spawn brought more trouble than needed, and they soon were forgotten when several others races came forth, all who were known as monsters, and the most horrible of them were the Lotus. The lotus appeared mortal, but possessed inhuman strength, intelligencene, and speed, as well as a strong thirst for power which would contribute to the actions leading up to war. More races growled, new ones born, and power was in interest of all, even the deities slowly corrupted from their insides. Tension was high, and faster than lightning war broke out. The demigods joined forces against the lotuses. Then the mortal armies joined led by the Peacekeepers, and from the darkest parts of the planet called Astra, land of the dead, was the astrian army led by Daemon and Serenity. The peacekeepers were shocked to learn Serenity and Daemon were not only partners, and rulers of Astra, but married! Their love seemed unfit to their fellow deities, as well as their opinions, and they challenged them in this epic battle which would soon be known as the Battle of Khalin. The war lasted for centuries, and it did not end until the last stand off in Khalin, a city south of the planets capital, Iorda. The last two armies stood, Astra and Iorda, led by the opposing deities. The Astrians charged the Iordians and blood spilled upon the ground, blood which would stay there for generations to come. The Astrians fled back into Astra, not before their final strike against Iorda, Daemon covertly ignited several bombs, they were knowns as the metal they were made from, Iranium. These bombs destroyed several cities around Astra, forming a new set of lands known as the Outskirts, a place were none could live. Years after the planet was in the process of rebuilding, Malachi held his grudge against Daemon, he killed millions of innocents, and Malachi would not allow him to live thinking he had won. Soon after the deities took love interests in one another, despite their perspective on Daemon and Serenitys love. Melody and Malachi soon joined in matrimony, and so did Adra and Orion. The deities all gave birth to beautiful, powerful children. Then, one dark night, Malachi snuck into Astra and slit Serenity's throat, it was a devilish move, and he planned it exactly after she gave birth to her last child, Onyx Oculus. Astra was without queen, Daemon was enraged, and in his anger he constructed barriers around barriers of enchantments to not even allow a fly inside the city without his acknowledgement. The planet would highly depend upon its new deities, they must defend it from a new evil that will arise.
