Gemma POV:
First day of school is hard for everyone but todays my first day at a new school I've never really gone to a new school apart from high school but i had a few friends with me then. Well today's different, i don't know anyone or anything about this school. As I'm sitting on my bed i hear my mum call "come down now darling or you'll be late" i grab hold of my bag and head downstairs.

I walk through the gates keeping my head down. I spot a group of girls who seem nice and smile at me. As i look around i see this boy sitting down staring at me, i look away straight away not knowing if he's looking at me or someone else. I look up a minute later to see him only a few metres in front of me walking closer, he gives me a smile and continues to get closer. I didn't know how to react so i walk off heading to my class, regretting that decision straight away i contemplate whether to go back and talk to him but too scared to go back i just continue going.

Ethan POV:
Chris and i wait at the school gate. Neither of us excited so we just sit quietly staring at our phones. i look up to see the most beautiful girl walk through the gates. I've never seen her before so i assume she is new. Next thing i know i find myself heading straight towards her. She sees me coming and smiles but doesn't stop. Before i get a chance to say hi she walks off. I begin to follow her so i could get a chance to talk to her but she is gone and i can't find her. I spend my next class just thinking about her i can't get her out of my mind. i sigh loudly during class while thinking about her which got me some unwanted attention from the class who just stare at me strangely. Maybe school isn't gonna be so bad this year.
