Under The Bridge

Prologue

Cassie Christine Javala looked over her shoulder, laughing and running with her sister, Trista Skye Javala, away from their brother, Titus Jordan Javala. They were triplets.

Cassie and Trista kept running, then spotted a bridge.

"Hey! Let's hide under there. He won't find us." Cassie whispered to Trista. They ran over the the bridge, but when they were out of view from others, they were suddenly sucked into a medium sized hole.

Everything was black, then they heard something land with a thump beside them.

"Cass? Tris?" they heard Titus' voice.

"We're here." Said Cassie.

Suddenly a booming voice called through the dark.

"You have trespassed into our world. And you will pay the price!" the lights turned on and they saw that they were cornered. Behind them, there was a ladder back up through the hole.

As the creatures standing in front of them advanced, the triplets scrambled up the ladder.

One of the creatures caught onto Trista's foot, but them it slipped out.

"WE WILL GET YOU!!!" They heard the faint booming voice as they ran as fast as they could away from it.

As they rounded the corner to their house, they each felt something sting on their forearm. As they looked down, they saw that they now had a burn mark - red and raised - in the shape of a circle, with three comma shaped marks in it.

Now they were in trouble.

As they entered the house, they kept their arms behind their backs, trying to make sure hat their parents didn't see the burns.

They were, after all, only 15. If their parents saw that they each had the exact same marks, in the exact same places, it would definitely look suspicious.

"Come get your dinner!" their mum called a while after they returned. They were very luck that they happened to be very good at drawing, so they could disguise it as a drawing. Making them look, slightly different just to avoid suspicion.

"Thanks mum!! It looks delicious." Tris said and grabbed her plate.

"What's that?" asked their dad carelessly. Their parents were used to drawings ranging from their arms, all the way to their calves.

"Oh," Titus started, "well, Tris and I saw it on Cassie's arm, and drew it on ourselves. Looks good doesn't it?"

They nodded and sat at the table to eat.

They hoped that they could disguise it long enough to get rid of it, and not look suspicious.

Yay! I'm back on!!!

This is crazy short, but oh well, the next chapter (i don't know if you could even call this one :( ) will definitely be longer.

I actually have a plan for this book!!!!!
