-Chapter 12-
Lilly's POV
When I woke up I was slightly frustrated with the fact that I was being squeezed to death by Mark, but I didn't mind since the dream I had last night scared me to death. I shook off the dreadful feeling I obtained by simply remembering my dream. I sighed sadly, my first dream in forever and it's Mark dying by the hand of a familiar man. However he seems familiar but nothing comes to mind when I think of him just his grin with perfect white teeth except for one missing canine. I didn't want to think about it anymore so I focused my attention to getting out of Mark's grip so I could call Jeff and Brian. I tugged on his arm, but it was no use his arm was too heavy, or it seemed that way. I tried to squirm around but only ended up with him tightening his grip on me. I bit his shoulder and he woke up with a smirk directed at me, "What are you doing?" Mark grinned before looking into my eyes with a sad expression, "I'm trying to get up, and what's wrong?" Mark loosened his grip on me and I sat up. "What's wrong?" I asked as he pulled himself up to a sitting position, "You didn't dream again did you," he looked worried. "No, just the usual. Where are the phones Brian bought us?" He leaned over the side of the bed and snatched the cell before handing it to me, "You don't haft to leave today, the doctors want you in here for a reason."
I shrugged and dialed Jeff's number, he picked up before the first ring even ended, "Hello." Jeff sounded tired when he answered, "Hey Jeff when are you picking us up, because I want to leave as soon as possible," Mark gave me a disapproving glare and I ignored him. "We can pick you up now if you want, Brian and I bought clothes for you yesterday after we left so if you want I can have Brian pick out clothes for Mark and we can just leave the hospital and go straight to the plane." I considered this before remembering something I needed to finish, I cupped my hand over the phone, "Mark can you go get me some water before we leave?" He nodded and left the room searching for unneeded water, "That would be great, could you stop by the shop and pick up Mark's projects for me as well, there's three of them and Brian knows where they are." I knew Jeff had paint and tools at his house so I didn't need anything else from the shop. "Sure, we'll see you soon," I smiled to myself, "Also he is not to know about this so hide them in the car or something."
I hung up as Jeff agreed and Mark walked through the door with a plastic cup of water and a straw, "You sure your okay to leave?" I nodded, "Yes Mark I'm more than sure jeez would you stop worrying and just relax." I didn't stood up feeling slightly weak, but pushed it aside and began to dig through the bad Brian brought here yesterday. "Lilly take it easy, what are you looking for," I ignored his comment and pulled out a long shirt of Mark's that was practically a dress on me so I didn't bother with any pants I already had undergarments on. I walked slowly to the bathroom not trusting myself to be able to pace as usual without falling. Once I made my way to the bathroom I quickly tugged the hospital gown off and saw the scars I had from the surgery, there was one shaped like a crescent moon on my shoulder and the other on my back was red and sore, but the scar was pretty neat it was almost in the shape of a jagged bolt or lightening. I sighed and checked out my last scar under my armpit, it was a simple line that had faded more than the other two. I took a bath sponge and wiped over my scars just to ensure I had all the access blood off. I glanced back at the mirror and took in my facial appearance, the black eye was fading and my cut was smaller. I quickly rinsed my face and dried it, before placing Mark's shirt over my head and leaving the bathroom.
I gently crawled into the hospital bed and laid down as Mark looked up from his phone and grinned at me with a beautiful smile. I zoned out and thought about what Jeff had said. Jeff said someone needed to talk to me but he didn't say who all he said was he, so it had to be a guy that I knew. However I only knew three that were alive and didnt hate me, and they were traveling to LA with me. I sighed confused, but soon enough I would know LA wasn't a long flight from Utah, and Jeff's house was close to the airport since he loved the annoying sound of planes flying over head. I snapped out of my trance as Mark smoothed his hand over my cheek gently, "What are you thinking about?" I shrugged, "Everything," I answered simply before Mark interlocked our hands and sat next to me.
