The skies were dimming. Autumn into Winter, day to night, light to dark, orange to black.

I saw you there, on the street. This city, abandoned when we came. When the darkness came.

You stood there in the middle of an intersection.

Cars were thrown about on the sides, some still burning from the gasoline.

You looked up, as if you were expecting to be saved by God.

Have you forgotten? God abandoned you.

You were once a good angel. So pure and innocent, but along came the darkness.

Along came the shadows, the demons. Along came me.

You were a treasured angel, loved by many, but you sacrificed it for a sin with me.

You gave up your privileges for a night of pleasure, only to be left cold and empty.

You're a fallen angel, a disgrace.

You looked to me and our eyes met.

I could see the anger and sadness swirl in them as you looked at me.

Good. Thats how they all turn.

Fallen angels always turn to anger. Fallen angels always turn to their demons.

You ran towards me, hands raised, intending to choke me.

Silly angel, that never works.

I grabbed hold of your hands and our lips collided

I could feel you loosen, I could feel you reciprocate, I could feel you turn.

Your demons have consumed you, and you have accepted them.

Embraced them with a smile, embracing them with open arms.

Embracing me.
