Until Death Do Us Part

How it all started

"Abigail have you finished your homework yet"?! Mrs. Rita (the head of the foster home I lived in) yelled from down stairs. "Almost". I replied. My best friend Josie and I go to Nightmare High School and I know the name makes it sound like the worst school ever but the name is very misleading. Nightmare High is one of the best schools that you could ever go to.

Anyway.... I don't think that I have formally introduced myself my name is Abigail and I am 14 years old. I live in a foster home because my parents got murdered when I was 7 years old. All I remember from that night was coming home and seeing my parents bodies on the ground laying in a big pool of blood. Then I walked over to them and I saw that both of them had been shot in the head. I could see parts of their brains mixed in with the blood. I guessed that they had been shot recently because the blood was still fresh and they were still bleeding.

Then I saw the ghosts. I saw two ghosts rise up from my parents bodies, the ghosts had so much blood on them it looked like they killed about 20 people. When they turned around to face me I heard them say "Go, run, now and never come back to this house. The person who killed us was trying to get to you and we were in his way so he shot us. Now run for your life my beautiful daughter." Then they were gone.

I had so many questions like..... Where was I supposed to go the rest of my family lived on the other side of the world? What was I supposed to do? Who do I tell about this? Would I be adopted by a family that loved me as much as my parents did? But I could not stand there waiting for answers I had to leave. So I went to the nearest police station.

When I got there I told them what happened and they put me in the foster home and that is where I still am today.

Well enough about my old life I have to live in the moment and right now I was happy where I was and I didn't want anything to change.
