Voices - Chapter One

She's in a bad mood again"a girl's voice comes from a huddled group in the corner I keep walking towards the entrance off my school. Of course I'm in a bad mood I have to wake up every morning and come to this shithole. I take one more look over my shoulder and see the girls put their heads down trying not to make eye contact with me.

Its always this way most people are scared of me because of my family history acording to my Aunt Claire they seem to know more about me than I do. Ever since I moved here four months ago to live with my Aunt Claire and her daughter Sadie a lot of odd things keep happening. for example people avoiding me like I'm some crazy person with a knife and that's including my Aunt and Sadie.

I guess i can not blame them i am a pretty hot headed person and the colour of my eyes don't help the situation. There is a lot of things i don't know about myself for example i never met my dad he was apparently a lord with a bad temper but he was an amazing father that's what my mum told me that's all she ever said when ever i asked but she always had a hint of fear on her face which made me question her.

I was to deep in thought that i did not release that the bell had rung i looked back at the huddled group of girls in the corner only to see that they had gone. I began to walk to class dreading every step knowing i was going to be late. I hate most of my teachers they are always staring at me and always putting me on the spot.

I finally reached my classroom a couple of minuets late, i reached for the handle and pushed the door open. I walked inside to see everyone staring at me or not me someone or something behind me. i hear a couple of girls giggling in the corner and they make eye contact with me and automatically shut up. Another girl piped up with the words "his so cute" god girls these days all about the boys well at least they ant looking or talking about me. I make my way to my seat not even looking back at the guy knowing full well his a typical guy and I'm not in the mood for that. I do my usual routine putting my headphones on and adjusting my sunglasses, starting to scroll through my playlist not paying attention to what is going on around me.

I'm just about to press play on my music when i here a woman's voice say "Miss Primrose" i look up to see my teacher looking at me. when she sees me look at her she slowly adjusts herself trying not to act scared when she clearly is regretting talking to me. i pull out my headphones and say "What?" she looks at me with a hint of fear and takes a deep breath before she talks "Are you going to pay attention in this lesson? or just sit there listing to music?" this time before i spoke, i removed my sunglasses making the girl next to me shuffle in her seat because my eyes make people uncomfortable.

Out of no where i hear someone start laughing it was a guys laugh, I look around the room making people flinch every time someone looks at me which pisses me off. I finally land on a guy who i have never seen before. when he notices me looking at him probably with my death stare he stops and grins at me. I stood up knocking my chair over making almost everyone jump except him he was still grinning he had grey eyes and scruffy black hair which was back in a ponytail he was very smug.

Everyone was looking at me i picked up my sunglasses and my bag making sure i adjust my headphones so they are straight i then look up and say "SCREW YOU ALL" i walk towards the door and the teacher hisses "Where the hell do you think your going?" then i here someone laughing at me again that stupid arse from earlier. i here some girl "shh" him and whisper something out of earshot. i turn and go to walk out the door to see someone standing in the door way.

Another guy slightly older than me he was looking down at me i roll my eyes and say "I'm gone" and push passed him i hear him say something to someone in the classroom. I just keep walking down the narrow school hallway until i reach the door and kick it open.

Some girls walked past and looked at me and continued talking about the new guy a blond girl in the group saying how he was weird and scary.

"Ha scary my arse" saying it out loud shit one of the girls turned around not noticing it was me she automatically turned around again whispering "Its Raven i hope she did not see me do that shit" i ignored it and continued walking towards the woods part of the school my favourite place at the
moment.

I spent the rest of the day in the woods until late and then headed back to my aunts.
