Carl loved sleeping. He never wanted to get up to do something. But today was the day that he was moving. He didn't like the fact he was leaving his childhood home. But unfortunately, the watershed ( the land around a river) was too polluted to stay here. So he was moving to the estuary, the place where the water of the ocean and the water of the river meet, that was a few miles down the river. The journey was long, so he had to leave early. So Carl got out of bed and did his normal daily activities. He did his crab dance that works to scare away vultures and also warmed up his 8 legs. After this, he decided to pack up his belongings. When he was done, he decided to go to the shoreline to gather some food. He used his mighty pincers and grabbed a few shrimp. He put them in his bag and left to see his home one more time. On the way back, he saw a sad, forlorn shellfish.
