Dear Harry,
Thank you for finally sending us some news on how you are! Ron and I have been so worried, so we're glad you're well. The baby is fine and very healthy, as am I, but Ron certainly isn't helping with the cravings! He thinks that since I get to eat whatever, so does he. Which definitely doesn't encourage me to eat healthy!
We still haven't decided on names, but Ron wants to name her after his mother. Don't get me wrong, I love Molly, but I don't want to name my daughter after someone who also shares the name with my childhood horse, who had quite an appetite for human fingers.
I don't want to take any chances.
If she turns out to be a biter I don't know what I'll do!
Anyway, the baby shower is this weekend at the burrow. Everyone will be there, so I hope you can come too.
Love,
Hermione Weasley-Granger (I just love saying that!)
P.S it's a plus-one invitation.

Carefully folding the parchment in his hands, Harry tosses it into the pile of mail from everyone else. It was weird hearing from Hermione, since the only type of mail he seems to get anymore is fan mail. It's been six months since the war has ended, and Harry has slowly been disbanding from the Weasley family and his other friends, who seem to think Harry should be all buddy-buddy and happy since Voldemort is dead and gone and he's safe now.
But Voldemort is still alive in my dreams.
Instead of burdening his pain onto the others Harry tried to hide it, but alas, it didn't work. So instead Harry took into retreating away from his happy friends, and the joy of hermione's pregnancy and all the new couples, since he couldn't stand to take the happiness away from anyone else.
Anyway, all they talk about is babies.
Babies was not a subject Harry liked to talk about. Ginny had wanted kids and Harry hadn't so their relationship had quickly ended. Which was great because Harry had been having trouble hiding his thoughts from Ginny, and he knew that Ginny would instantly find someone else. Which she did. Seamus and Ginny had been the talk of the town for months, and we're both incredibly happy.
And I am too.
Harry was grateful he didn't have to worry about hurting Ginny anymore. He knew she always became upset when he refused to share the cause of his nightmares, which dreamless sleep potion couldn't seem to curb. Harry also felt good because he knew the spark between Ginny and himself had gone, and he knew it wouldn't come back.
Harry also knew he wouldn't be coming back to the burrow anytime soon.
The invitation to Hermione's party would not be replied to. He couldn't go, knowing everyone would be asking where he's been and how he is, what he's doing and ect. ect.
Anyway, for quite sometime Harry had been contemplating breaking off from everyone completely.
And now he had decided.
I'm going back to the muggle world.
But one thing Harry didn't know, was that he wouldn't be alone.
