I hide all thoughts and feelings away from the world,
Sometimes I hide these things from myself.
A masquerade describes my everyday life,
I am the kidnapper who steals my own dreams, to which I bear the knife.
Lost in the darkness, the shadows have overcome me,
I shall remain barren and secret for all eternity.
Use the dark, which is depended on to conceal one's eyes;
To create my disguise.
I am the phantom of the night,
To blend with others amongst me, yet with a personality as cold as ice.
I must tell no one about myself,
I am the person whom no one can help.
To the ball is where I don the mask,
Only everywhere else is where the mask lasts.
I am blank yet filled with utter misery,
That is why I keep with me....my Hidden Identity.
