Shift Gone Wrong?!

Chapter 1

I could hear the parties from the popular students here at Shifter University, a university for shifters I'm not sure how any of these people study or pass anything if they have parties every night I'm lucky I get to study at all. I'm Silvia better known as Jazz. I was adopted by shifter parents as I was left out side their house when I was a baby with only a few letters of who I am my parents changed my name as soon as they adopted me and now I hate them, most shifters shift between 13. I'm 17 and still haven't shifted so they kicked me out and kicked me out of their house with barely anything I'm supposed to go back once I shift but I'm never going back ever parents don't do that to their children adopted or not. So now that you know a bit about me let's begin.

"Jazz! Let me in." My boy best friend (and only friend) Jason yells over the music of one the parties going on next door. I open the door and there he is my very attractive best friend he knew he was attractive but he was a geek not a popular kid so he hung out with me and I loved him for that he's my family. He hugs me tightly as he walks in and shuts the door. "I thought we were meeting up later so we have enough time to pack" I say frowning at him and sitting down next to my half full bags. "We were but I got a call from my brother and he wants us there early.." Jason is like his brothers a powerful lion shifter he's beautiful when he shifts I just wish I could shift and run with him or fly or crawl or whatever. But I still haven't shifted the first time is going to be the scariest but I will shift soon I can feel it. "Jazz hello did you hear me?" Shit I did it again "Uh yeah your brother wants us there early so I need to pack the rest of my stuff." I get up and start packing the rest of my stuff I don't want to leave anything that I will never see again once I live on his land he says its huge!

So now we're sitting in the car on our way to his house we decided to drive even though he could of got his brothers friends to drop our stuff off and we could of shifted and ran to his family home but no of course because my animal is hiding I couldn't shift so now I'm sitting in the passenger seat like a pretzel I hate car rides..

I jump out of the car as soon as soon as I see the house rolling away from the car I stand up smiling and brush myself off as Jason parks the car and quickly walks over to me to check on me. "You crazy bitch I know you hate car rides but the car could of crushed you!" I giggle and hug him "I know but we're shifters we know how to survive bud."  "Still doesn't mean you can't be crushed by a car Jazz!" Hmm he has a point "oh yeah sorry I just I feel energetic I think I'm going to shift soon I can feel it" I jump on his back and he carries me to the front door which quickly opens with a young boy about 14 smiling at his older brother. He looks just like Jason. "Jason! Your back with your mate!" He says excitedly and hugs Jason who lets me slide down and stand next to him. "Haha Max she's not my mate she my best friend remember" the boy looks confused for a second but registers it. "Oh oh yeah I knew that sorry" he hugs me tightly and I hug him back this was my new family after all. "Come mumma, Tim and Jackson are in the back we're about to go for a run but we want to meet he you before your animal!" I sigh but smile and follow the young boy to the back where two extremely attractive males and a gorgeous female were laying calmly on seats they look up as we approach. But as soon as they see Jason and get up and run over to him and hug him. "Jason!" The two boys which must be twins or close to the same age at least, yell and hug him. "Hey boys this is my best friend Jazz" he smiles as he says this and walks over to his mother and hugs her "It's good to have you home Jason and it's good to have your best friend here she's beautiful"

"So Jazz you like our brother?" The two boys in front of me smirk then laugh and hug me, I smile "Nah not my type haha" the boys laugh and run back to Jason with little Max standing there being confused but he laughs and runs over to his brothers. I decide to slowly approach their mother then kneel down and I say softly "Thank you Mrs for letting me stay here on your beautiful land with you and your family." I stay there listening for movement, the boys have gone quite and the only sound is the hot wind whipping the trees. She pulls me up and hugs me. "I've always wanted a daughter Jazz and because of you, you have blessed me with being able to let you live here I know my son loves you like a sister already and the rest of us will as well welcome to the family sweetie." Smiling I hug her while the boys shift behind us. "Ok now since we're not sure of your animal and Jason won't tell us what your animal is we will meet you at the front of the house to give you some privacy" as she says that she undresses and shifts the boys run over and lick my hands as their mother stretches and runs to the froth of the house with the boys following them. "Ok Jazz you've got to shift they won't want you living here if you can't shift come on!"
