I have realized June already when we first met again in the train. Eden just smiled at June when he was going to be interviewed for an engineering position. When I first saw her face, it's like all the shattered pieces of my memories have returned form the fist day we've met until the day she saved me from the Colonies.
"How are you doing already?" June asked
"I'm fine, actually. It's a good thing that our lives are back to normal. I mean, Eden has one more towards his dream & I have already accomplished my dream as a military officer in Antarctica," I said with a grin
When I saw her face again, June feels like she's worried, confused, and angry all at the same time. I know that she would get mad at me because, after 10 years that I've lived in Antarctica, I haven't talked or went to June after an amnesia that I have suffered. But instead she seems to be happy & I noticed that her cheeks have gone red.
"Are you going to visit Tess?" June asked
"Well, not only that I would visit Tess but I'm thinking of living here, I guess," I said firmly
"Really, you're going to live here again?" June asked
"Well, yes, and since when did I live here?" I asked
"You didn't remember? You lived here 12 years ago in the Lake Sector," June answered
I wasn't sure if I lived here 12 years ago because I didn't remember what sector did I live here in the Republic.
"Sorry, I didn't remember much about where I lived. Probably because I already lived in Antarctica. Perhaps, I should live here and start from the bottom, yeah?" I said in a dramatic/sad tone
Well, if I mean to live here & start from the bottom, I should probably work here in LA as a military officer. As the train stops to the station of where Tess lived, June and I talked about our life here before in the Republic as we walked by. She actually talked about what I did when I first lived here: Being a notorious criminal, disobeying the law, how June and I met, how my mother died, how did my brother sacrificed himself for me, instead of me being killed in front of the whole people, how we saved the Elector, how I announced my support to the Elector, how the Colonies invaded the Republic and how I've became the Champion of every people here in the Republic. I never thought that many things have happened since I left. Never been updated to the political and government issues though, yeah?
When we reached the place where Tess lived, it seems that she also moved on as a Medic. June knocked the door & went inside but when we got inside, it is more than I imagined. A Medic certificate, first aid kits, it is like Tesshas accomplished her life being a Medic.
"Stay here, first. I will call Tess for you. For now, make yourself feel at home," June requested
As I looked around the house, I notice some pictures of Tess with June at the Batalla Sector, & pictures of Kaede at the Lake Sector. It seems that she is having a good time with them. But what if she sees me? What will be her reaction? What if she hates me already, since that I left the Republic?
A lot of questions ran through my mind. I don't know if she will recognize me after 12 years that we didn't see each other.
"Day?" a voice of a girl questioned behind me
That voice, a sweetness of her voice recognizes her a lot & I cannot forget that voice the day we've met. Tess.
