Everything changed when they attacked us. First they destroyed all of humanities defenses, not that they needed to. The demons could survive a nuclear blast. Each one was around twenty foot tall. That were humanoid in appearance. They were all the personification of darkness and insanity. They covered the world in chaos. Then, when all seemed lost, something else awakened...

Away in a underground research facility, scientists worked night and day to figure out how to hurt the demons. The head of the facility paced up and down the hallways. He was frustrated. "Every time we come up with something new it doesn't hurt them." He growled. He punched the wall. They had tried everything. Bombs, chemicals, biological weapons nothing worked. His superiors on the surface had demanded that he find a solution but nothing he gave them worked. He and his fellow scientists were running out of ideas. His thoughts were interrupted by someone clearing their throat. He turned his blood shot eyes towards the origin and saw that it was one of his subordinates. "What do you want?" He asked irritated at the interruption. "Sir we found something in section A8." Section A8 was where there were expanding the facility. "What is it?" The head asked. "Sir, you will want to take a look at it your self. We don't know what it is."
Twenty minutes later the head stood in front of the find. It was a large sphere made of some unknown metal. The head walked up and touched the sphere and it started glowing. A voice spoke in his head "Do you want to save your world?" "Yes." He replied. Then the sphere glowed brighter...
