First day

My mother waved me goodbye as I stepped into this unfarmiliar territory, my mind racing. Why didn't she tell me? Why... Why why?!?!?~I thought, pushing my pale blonde hair out of my eyes as my Satyr escorted me in. His name was Edward, and he offered to show me around. "Im fine... I just need time to think" I said as I walked to the shore, the water glimmering in the sun. I took off my shoes and set them to side. I dipped my toes in. I had always felt a love for water. Then my thoughts wandered again ~I wonder who my dad is...~ I pondered it for a minute . I then pushed it away. I sighed as I heard my name "Hello Arielle" said a man that was... Wait what?!? Half.. Horse. Half human. I blinked, my sea green eyes were wide. "J-just call me Ari" I managed to sputter out, eyes still wide. "Well, Ari, welcome to Camp Half Blood"
