"Guess what?"
Shen suddenly exclaimed out of nowhere.
I asked her as I browsed into my book. "Is it new?"
She sat on the chair opposite to mine. "Actually, no," she paused and put her bag on the table, "but it's definitely a big deal."
As she said those words, I immediately laid my eyes on her and gave her a what-are-you-talking-about-look.
She grinned a devilishly grin. "Oh! Someone's curious."
''Shen, I don't have freakin' time for your jokes." Even though she's my best friend, I don't understand her sometimes if she's just being playful or honest- just like now.
"Josh has his new girl, Sof!"
Those words hung on my mind for a couple of seconds. I looked away after everything sunk my mind.
I didn't say anything. "And the real thing is-"
"That girl's name is Sophia." I stopped her words by my words.
"Sofia, my friend, don't you think it's ridiculous? He gets every 'Sophia' here after your break up." She asked me but I didn't show any emotion.
"What do you want me to do? Ban every 'Sophia' or 'Sofia' or 'Sophie' here and say 'Hey, don't you ever dare come near my ex-boyfriend because he might make you his girlfriend once he know your name!' Is that so, Shen?" I asked her out of my err- anger.
"Don't throw another question. I'm the one who first asked here."
I glared at her. "I'm not."
"Okay. Imagine this. Every Sophia or Sofia or Sophie in this campus, will have the chance to be with Josh and in return, they will have their hearts broken after and as a matter of fact, it is somehow your fault."
I laughed. "Mine? Really?!"
"Because you broke HIM! You're Sofia! The first girl he ever loved and everyone knows that." She said to me keeping her voice calm.
"I'm done here." I pulled my bag and my book then I ran.
This keeps happening. He gets every girl with the same name as mine.

"Hey girl! Guess what?"
"What now, Shen?" Actually, we're in good terms now. She's really my best friend after all.
"Josh has his new girl!" I laughed at her words. What's new 'bout that? He can have every Sofia he wants.
I looked at her in the eyes. "Let me continue that," I stood up, "and the real thing is that girl's name is-"
"Abigail."
My smile slowly disappeared. "Not Sophia nor Sofia nor Sophie." Shen said when I couldn't find any words to say.
"That's... uhh goo- better, I mean."
That means, he finally moved on. He now lives with the fact that I can't be with him anymore.
"It's not! You're Sofia! The ever first Sofia!" She went to the board and wrote 'SOFIA I'.
"That's you."
That's awful.
"Right. But this 'Sofia I' broke his heart. But this 'Sofia I' is weak. This f*ckin' 'Sofia I' can't live any longer."
I cried. "I can leave now. Before, I can't stand the fact that he would cry and cry but we both know I'm not going back once I leave. So, I decided to leave him soon to make sure someone's gonna take over my place. Now, it's happening."
I cried surrendering everything and anything.
"Sofia! Sofia! Y-ou. Y-ou... Your nose. It's bleeding."
I touched my nose and it's true then everything went black.
